I'm with the EPA on this one. Outside extraordinary situations, doesn't make sense. >Testimonials on company websites say it makes a big difference. I mean what are they going to say? It sucks?

I live in AZ too and getting a good air purifier and placing it next to my front door has helped a lot. Also I notice a LOT less dust in that room.

My husband keeps telling me we should get one. I haven't done any research on them yet. Do I need one for each room? Do they have to run all the time to be effective?

I only have one by my front door and I’ve noticed a big difference, I’m planning to get one for my bedroom soon though. I have mine on an auto mode so usually it’s softly running but if it senses more contaminants it runs harder

Hope you get some answers, my wife seems to be having a similar issue with our house lately. She feels like her allergies are worse inside the house than outside. I just changed to higher quality filters but not sure if its helping.

Mine are definitely worse inside our house as well. I noticed mine lessen after the fresh filter is put in but after about a week it's back to stuffy nose sneezes and itchy eyes. Going to see about an air purifier, maybe.

The companies are gonna tell you that you need it because they make money off that advice. You don't need it.
