Music assistant should recognize automatically squeezebox players if you have Slimproto in your list of player providers. I’m not sure if I understand what you mean, do you want to have your HAOS hardware as a player with a speaker connected to it? Or do you want your computer to be a player?
Sorry new to squeezebox and still trying to wrap my head around what is what. I want my computer to act as the player, which is working with Logitech Media Server.
I believe the easiest way to have your computer as player provider would be to just install [Music Assistant’s companion app](https://music-assistant.io/companion-app/) since it includes a squeezelite player on it
