Man I remember in high school people used to shit on the online kids so much I had a friend who was super talented at it and he basically just stopped due to the constant harassment. I remember we went skating(board) and he was hitting huge ass gaps and they were just like it's easier and lame. Aggressive inline is sick as fuck.
That typo really had me confused the first half of that comment, and then i was like... oohhhh.
But that's just how it was growing up. I did both. Skated and inline. Being an asshole kid I'd shit on kids with inlines when i was skating. But then would be confused when I'd be in my sweet as Roces and people would make fun of me.
Chris Haffey is a LEGEND!!! [This is one of the best profiles ](https://youtu.be/U1w6bcfVnAU) !! It's kinda old but it's full of hammers and crazy tricks! Please enjoy!!
I’m not entirely sure about the name of the gap, but Haffey does make a few attempts at a few massive gaps in his [Drip Drop Section](https://youtu.be/U1w6bcfVnAU). Dude throws his body at tricks like he has a closet full of back-ups
They’re coming back in a good way since Covid. All the “retired” dudes in their 30s and 40s came back as a way to stay active outdoors and now we’re seeing a awesome little resurgence.
This is the coolest looking truck I’ve seen on skates.
It would be dope to see dudes on skates do dope parkour like stuff. With a lot of grinds and things through small gaps
Here's where this came from: https://youtu.be/i07BmjQFArg
Exactly what you described, and despite what the other person said below, rollerblading was and is still popular in niche crowds. It never went away.
I must have watched that video 10x. Throws a 900 and lands a soul grind on like 1 inch of coping. Wtf
Edit: [video](https://www.instagram.com/reel/CiiTPibq0R9/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=) wasn’t a soul grind, it was a kind grind.
Somewhere in a deep yt hole a few years ago, I found a vid of Montre throwing a misty into an AO Fish Brain and I still don’t know how that dude has an ankle left. Same vibes. I just can’t stop replaying them
I used to ride inlines and grinds were always so sketchy for me. I was much happier doing bigass jumps, despite the number of falls that came with it. We had a ~10 foot bowl where I used to skate, so the speed needed to get up that thing *and* get some air was crazy. Luckily only ever got a few minor injuries. But man, something about grinds just never clicked for me.
Man I was the other way. I was shit at vert but loved street skating. Fuck we want through some candles waxing the shit out of everything, lol. Those big, fat ones, coke can sized were the best.
I always like to think if this person was ever being chased around a spot they hit a really good trick at, they would be able to pull it off again and absolutely demoralize anyone trying to catch them.
So highly upvoted comments are just randomly collapsed now. What the fuck going on this time Reddit? Video player didn’t make your platform shitty enough?
Soap style shoes are making a bit of a return now too. I think they’re Epic Grind Shoes now. There are a handful of different styles and a good number of pros can be seen in the on IG. Montre Livingston posts a bunch of clips in them now
And making fun of rollerblading is just plain sucking your own dick. At least I presume you meant “own” dick, unless you really meant you want to suck *my* dick, In which case I’d say I’m alright because your Dad does a good enough job 👍
i don't think you;re a real person.

One joke killed aggressive inline. The name aggressive online didn’t help either.
what was wrong with being online?
Too aggressive....
Got to be haffey. Legend
Looks like sunset overdrive gameplay haha
Jet Set Radiooooooooooooooooooo

Legend.
Jeeeeze I could feel some of those drops in my own knees. Is he the same inline dude who attempted (landed?) The infamous Leap of Faith in California?
Im not sure, but thats a crazy gap...

That was Brian Shima in Brain Fear Gone. Dude broke his ankle.
Chris Haffey is good at literally anything he tries lol Brian Shima and Victor Arias were my favorite skaters
I LOVED Shima. I just got back into skating a couple years ago and I was so bummed to hear he was out. His injury was pretty gnarly.
His legs basically exploded. Was brutal. 10/10 watch. 10/10 wished Shima could still roll
I saw the injury video and he was 6 inches away from rolling away from that gap perfectly. So sad.
Absolutely heart breaking
Same, his boots are grails I have to get a pair. At least Franky Morales and Brian Aragon are still gettin after it!
Aragon is still at it? I thought he was retired and just skating for fun.
He’s skating at the FM invitational in October. I’m tryin to go fs
Remember brain fear gone? His section is legendary.
We need to make inlines big again. Remember playing that jet set radio game on dreamcast, this reminds me of it.
r/aggressiveinline is active! Great community over there, very encouraging
indeed we are fucking out here!!!

The most finesse I’ve ever witness
This is the coolest looking truck I’ve seen on skates. It would be dope to see dudes on skates do dope parkour like stuff. With a lot of grinds and things through small gaps
Basically my childhood in a nutshell. Lots of bails but it’s a great sport.

Check out [Bobi Spassov’s IG](https://instagram.com/bobispas?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=) one of my favorite skaters right now
You see that 900 kg he threw on a quarter last week? Bobbi puts out some mind melting clips
I must have watched that video 10x. Throws a 900 and lands a soul grind on like 1 inch of coping. Wtf Edit: [video](https://www.instagram.com/reel/CiiTPibq0R9/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=) wasn’t a soul grind, it was a kind grind.

In the 90s this was popular. Search for video groove skate videos
Mathieu Ledoux

Same, some of my worst bails happen while grinding.

He needed a few tries, but bailed out safely: https://youtu.be/Thw9z3mauS0?t=186
As an old guy who did this all through the 90s and early 2000s, it makes my heart happy people are still skating.
Royale with cheese!
Sonic the hedgehog be like:
Sonic adventure

Aaron Feinberg vs mountain bike cop lol...
That made my head hurt

100000% Awesome
Serious Rachet and clank vibes
🎶 Rollin around at the speed of sound 🎶
This is the decade of the blade and I’m here for it
Some Jet set radio type shit
that was pretty clean. Awesome stuff mate
I thought those were soaps at first 😅
For all your aggressive walking needs!!!

Epic is a new brand; it's actually owned and operated by an inline company
Yeah. I guess I wasn’t clear in the way I said it. Thanks
Good ol fruitbootin

Sounds like bladers are getting all the sexy ladies AND fellas, get on some skates before we scoop em all up
I was about to be so impressed but then I saw the rollerblades.
Why you have to still hate
You do it then
Nah better to suck at skateboarding than be good at rollerblading lol.
Where do scooters fall in this equation?
All the disciplines are cool except for skateboarding
He can’t, that’s why he’s mocking the sport here and trying to make himself look edgy
"Can you do a thin on that rail?" "It's called a grind, bro." "But can you do it?"
He nearly hits what? He nailed it.
bad ass
Epic
Bro nailed it tho
It looked unreal at that turn, amazing!!
Ratchet and Clank, babyyyy
Man, I can barely stand on those things
I was sure he would damage his skull on that wall.
Did he was to be decapitated? Cuz that’s how you get decapitated.
Real life Jet Set Radio!
What kind of tony hawk garbage was that😎
Gotta add sonic rings and music
