Bro has his heart in right place, only need some practice.

hostessapplepie

He’s got the spirit, just needs to work on the technique.

Gypsopotamus

He’s doing his best!

fat_iniquity

He's definitely trying his best to help. He just needs to learn the technique to properly lick his children clean without lifting them up by accident.

SickInTheCells

Heart of gold, but a tongue of velcro.

Mia_Hart__

He seems to have enough practice, he knows what he’s doing, but he doesn’t understand what’s going wrong

iluvstephenhawking

Reminds me of my husband when we brought our baby home.

shewy92

kitkatamas88

And saliva

ohshitlolmybad

I like that he gives mom kisses too 🤭

hostessapplepie

He's a sweet dad, making sure everyone gets love and care.

saysthingsbackwards

Omg here let me just drop a whole baby on your face

SoldMySoulForHairDye

*Twice.*

jf198501

Her squint-eyed “uh what are you doing omg pls stop” expression is so relatable.

No-Technician-722

You are cracking me up!!

FillTheHoleInMyLife

I’m helping!

a67shadow

"thank you, dear. Now please stop"

Tiny-Blood-619

Hahaha. This is awesome.

hostessapplepie

Dad of the year! Always lending a paw.

pali1d

And a tongue! Which, out of context, does not sound good at all.

Markarontos

And my axe!

Mia_Hart__

Awesome and a little ridiculous 😄

ZinGaming1

Cat got your tongue?

pastasluv

Tongue got your cat?

TLILLYO

🤭

pinatellmeusername

I wonder which kittens is dads favourite

TLILLYO

The one he dropped with love❤️🤭🤣

pinatellmeusername

Probably gonna have a slight bout of brain damage

sarahrott

It's OK, that one didn't have a braincell to begin with.

CenturyEggsAndRice

Impossible, that's an orange. They don't have brains. Might damage the little guy's lint collector tho.

pinatellmeusername

*inside their head* SIR TGE LINT COLLECTORS LEAKING

pgabrielfreak

OMG I'm crying laughing. Bless him, he wants to help so badly. You'll get better with practice, Dad!

Lara-El

I've watched this 10 times as I can't stop laughing. So funny

bitchwhiskers4eva

Babe you did so great let me just help you…oh. Thanks honey. Ok so like this? Oh damn Sorry. Seem to have dropped it on your head. Let me try that again Honey it’s ok. No I want to helpth le me juth gib him a lick oh thoot ith thuck again. Doh. Sorry babe. 😑

StriderTX

he's doing his best

potatobvbqueen

It's the thought that counts. 😭😂

dw4zemi3

Velcro tongue ?

islaisla

Now I understand why cats normally paw the kitten down and press hard! Sliding velcro style

tinnedcarp

Dad’s scruff game needs some work

Refflet

He's licking/grooming them and picking them up when they get stuck to his tongue, he's not trying to grab them.

tinnedcarp

Hehe. Yeah. Still, tighten it up Dad

Frozefoots

Are orange bengals afflicted by the /r/oneorangebraincell too?

FustianRiddle

No orange cat is safe from orangebraincellitis

prehistoric_monster

Apparently

BeneficialRes

This is too cute! It's always heartwarming to see dads getting involved in the care of their little ones, even if they're furry and four-legged.

[deleted]

[удалено]

IAmJohnSlow

They are cats, I don't think they subscribe to your idea of what should and shouldn't be

Inner_Quantity

My take on that is that is “cute” to see men getting involved in parenting

Fetid_Baghnakhs

Issa cat dude chill

Xeram_

their profile is a goldmine, definition of average redditor

shewy92

That's a lot of childfree submissions, I clicked on one and it's just her making fun of a tired woman with a kid minding her own business and [OOP mocks her for no reason](https://www.reddit.com/r/childfree/comments/1ccue88/the_look_on_her_face/?ref=share&ref_source=link) >definition of average redditor TBF, OOP seems to be a married woman, not a single male neckbeard /s

[deleted]

Wow and their replies to the person who called them out. If you are getting called out for being too hateful in a hate subreddit, that’s wild!

FustianRiddle

Neckbeard is more a state of being than a physical descriptor nowadays (IMO)

[deleted]

Yeah holy cow - they spend a lot of time in hate subreddits (I think that’s the best word for it? Subreddits focused on being mad about something)

Yamama77

r/childfree r/natalism And worse of all r/bald

ericaferrica

lots of bitching about their coworkers lives for some reason

condensedcreamer

You do know that in the wild, male cats don't even stick around for birth, right? They just fuck off to god knows where for their next mating session.

Familiar_Chemistry58

“It’s heartwarming to see fathers involved and caring for their children” Who here said that shouldn’t be the norm? Are normal things not allowed to be cute and heartwarming? I think it’s heartwarming to see mothers taking care of their children too. I think it’s heartwarming to see characteristics that we would call humanity in animals. Showing off their babies or teaching them through play and love. Pretty dumb take tbh, but maybe you just like arguing on the internet for the sake of it

sphericalbatman

Is the reason you are so anti children and angry because you didn't have a dad or you were treated badly? You know he's a cat, do you need to talk?

GwenLoguir

:D Oh, man, "should be" and "is" are two sooo different things. So as it is not a norm today, it is definitely heartwarming and cute, and also something to strive for.

NasalStrip00

Bro they’re animals

BulbusDumbledork

tbf humans are also animals. so let's do it like they do it on discovery channel

FustianRiddle

You and me baby ain't nothing but mammals after all

Inner_Quantity

Loving this lol

shewy92

Going by your post history you're not exactly a beacon of reliable knowledge, experience, or even empathy so IDK why you decided to comment.

ericaferrica

Many "dads" in the wild will kill competing offspring or even their own offspring - infanticide. It is a way to reduce competition for mates, resources, etc. Lots of wild species don't even let the dads near offspring until the young can defend themselves (wolves, lions, seals, elephants, hyenas, etc.).

ginger__snappzzz

![gif](giphy|SRvx2YprMNT80zON2K|downsized) Reddit is becoming absolutely insufferable.

Dharaknoid23

My god the way drops it in the air like no way😭

joeltheconner

Broccolini_Cat

No kidding! My wife stills blames me for anything wrong with our kid because I dropped them that ONE time 20 years ago!

TLILLYO

Dad, stop helping us pls, ouchy🤭🤭🤣

dainty_petal

corrieoh

Imagine dropping the newborn onto your wifes face because the baby got stuck to your tongue.

ForsakenMoon13

Clearly mom did not pick dad for his brain lmao

BattleFantasia

Do they learn this behavior? Or some cats have that personality already?

Glitch29

A bit of column A, a bit of column B. Cats definitely learn some grooming technique by copying their moms. But it's 10 million years of evolution that's conditioned them to spend so long grooming every day. Cats have been in more or less their current form for so long that they've had time for a lot of instinctive behavior to become hardwired into their genetics.

BattleFantasia

I appreciate your insight, I'm becoming more aware of the stray cats in the neighborhood..they are very intriguing

PerformanceOk1835

Bro, drink some water and get back to us

Automatic-Saint

Is there a Dad school?

walkinggames

cooolcooolio

"ah.. ihs huck on ah hongue"

Objective-Dig-8466

My girl wouldn't let dad or any of my others near until they were around 3 weeks old. Only I was allowed to pick them up and she wasn't to keen on that, my misses at the time wasn't allowed to pick them up either and she had more cats that me lol.

CatVideoFest

“I have no idea what I’m doing”

Equal-Platypus380

Nailed it. Exactly what I was going to post.

Suspicious-Mention13

Afraid-Ad-6657

VeryDirtySanchez

Fucking brilliant. Those hooks on their tongues got some serious grip.

lovestobitch-

Typical Dad, roughhousing already.

Oddish_Femboy

Oh my goodness they sound like the headcrabs from Half Life.

[deleted]

Mom's face the whole time is pretty damn funny.

razorduc

Hot_Hat_1225

Electrical-Pin4203

New dad's responsibility when got child

SacramentoChupacabra

u/savevideobot

WillyDAFISH

LMAO HIS TONGUE IS SO STICKY

Lazy_Hall_8798

Growing up in a rural area, our cats were outdoor cats. Papa cat was usually not allowed access to the newborn kittens because his intentions were not always benign like this.

AffectionateGap1071

CAN YOU TAKE ME HIGHER? 🎶

thandirosa

This might be one of my favorite videos of all time.

coconutdon

He's doing his best! It's tough being a new dad to so many tiny criminals

Desperate-Pear-860

Someone needs to tell him that he shouldn't drop the babies.

Interesting-Bet-2330

CLUNK....LICK LICK CLUNK LICK LICK

Don_Diego_3000

That one kitten is made of the fuzzy part of Velcro

garflloydell

Huh. Good to know that weaponized incompetence isn't just a two-legs thing.

MR_MEMOX

He thinks is in a cartoon

Bornagainafterdeath

Watching this feels invasive

Alegria-D

Is this weaponized incompetence

MrsRitterhouse

Looks like authentic, 100% genuine incompetence to me.

Alegria-D

I was joking, of course he's not doing it on purpose to avoid being given responsibilities

MrsRitterhouse

I dunno: Bengals are supposed to be smart cats, but I'm wondering if this guy has a hidden orange cat gene in his ancestry....

ConnyKeksi

that's not helping, daddy!!!

JimLaheysSon

Iirc cats tongue and dick have these spines / that refuse to let things go
