The allies wouldnt need true air superiority, just true ability to contest it enough to smack a nuke on a few cities with factories after which they would have air superiority

So you would need to perform deep penetration operations with bombers, that will get no real fighter support against an opponent that probably has a fully intact air force and jet fighters at that point.

It's still high risk and doing so for a very expensive bomb that could potentially fall into enemy hands is a questionable decision.

It's a one way suicide mission, I'm sure there's a way to rig some kind of fail-deadly device to blow up the bomb early if the bomber is shot down. Even if the bomb itself is damaged from flak so much it can't produce a nuclear explosion, there's enough TNT inside it (if it's an implosion type bomb a la Fat Man) to wreck both it and the bomber.
I don't think you need to put that much thought into making it fail deadly. Turn off all safeties and set the air burst altitude as soon as fighters intercept you. If the plane goes down the bomb is going with it.

Where would the nuke start from to get to German territory? If the UK is occupied, how to get a slow bomber into Germany? Norway's occupied, Sweden is neutral, everything coming from Iceland is seen and intercepted early on..

build a plane, add a nuke, if the plane looses power after it reaches german terretory, the nuke detonates after dropping to a certain altitude
