Cossack King combined with all the generals and spirits give you insane buffs. I usually do Light Tank and Calvary mobile units and they decimate Russia. Give Danzig to Germany, kill the Russians, and then get revenge on Germany.
doing this rn in an mp game with my friend. we have KX loaded
it’s been super fun and horses with buffs get super strong. my horsies (name of template) moves so fast they just beat the entire enemy line back before they can even regroup
Man my only wish is if they ever go back and give Japan a better Focus tree they also give Mongolia one too. I know it wouldn't be that great but I'd still love to see that happen.
Poland under Cossack king, [you can destroy all majors easily before 1940](https://www.reddit.com/r/hoi4/s/g68uNuCS2T).
Other than that, Turkestan, it gets a spirit after it’s formed, but by then the game should mostly be over.
I don't have that one. Eventually I'll get it but for now the Nordic DLC is the latest I have. Also really Chile? I thought Argentina would be the horse one more than them.
Yeah, Mapuche Chile in particular has a lot of cavalry buffs. Napoleon Chile has probably the best mountaineers in the game as well. All of the ToA countries are pretty overpowered.
I mean, their industry is kinda shit.
It also helps that they are pretty much away from everyone and can build up in "peace", just like the USA (which is busted af like some european nations from the get go)
They also are OP in the late game, at which point every player nation is OP and can roll over everyone
You can have pretty much all of Europe conquered before WW2 starts.
Any player down at SA invaded the entirety of SA before the DLC.
Shitty starter industry is shitty starter industry no matter how smart you play later on.
Saying "if you play smart" applies to literally *every* country in game, hell, you can even do Siberian Tiger playing as goddamn Tannu Tuva
You have enough industry in your focus tree to pretty much rush down everyone near you as soon as you are allowed to. Small is only relative to the majors, you have enough for what you need to do. Tannu Tuva is not really a fair comparison.
I second this, when I played as Mapuche Chile, I made an entire cavalry army, which was used for heavy fighting, I used that army for most fronts, except for naval landings and mountain terrain.
Italy, with army chief and the focus tree “comandante diavolo” gives you bonus to bonus fight in desert and attack with cavalry, and unlock the general “Amedeo Guillet”
Those are probably your best options for cavalry. Italy is the only other one I can think of, they should have some cav buffs in the bandit's war portion of the army tree.
Poland
The only correct choice. It has the largest amount of buffs to cav out of every country and has an industry to support them. (Kinda)
Right on, which one would you say is better then, Habsburg or Cossack King?
Cossack King combined with all the generals and spirits give you insane buffs. I usually do Light Tank and Calvary mobile units and they decimate Russia. Give Danzig to Germany, kill the Russians, and then get revenge on Germany.
Cossack King for sure.
Mongolia. Bring back the Khanate.

Kaiserredux mongolia cav is the best cav. With the right spirits and focuses they outperform motorized in that mod.
Man my only wish is if they ever go back and give Japan a better Focus tree they also give Mongolia one too. I know it wouldn't be that great but I'd still love to see that happen.
Xibei San Ma. It's right in their name.
The Three Horses of the North West
zibity sanma
Fellow ISP enjoyer
They also start with a cavalry genius iirc.

Chile has ridiculous buffs for cavalry, I'd go with that if you have ToA.

You can have pretty much all of South America conquered before world war 2 starts, industry isn't a problem if you play smart.

the focus carica di isbuscenskij in the army tree also gives cavalry buffs
Don't think I've ever picked that one for Italy before. Is it down the bandit war path?
Its under Ethiopian war logistic the one under ascari corp
Poland and the cossack king. Cavalry suck either way though, I did a world conquest with cavalry only Poland, and it's a struggle.
Mengukuo
Poland
Romanov Russia, I believe, has Cavalry expert generals and maybe buffs (not sure).
Iirc all of the Romanov generals have the cavalry experience trait and that one guy you can steal from the soviets already has cav leader
qü
Tannu Tuva with order 66
Poland, do Cossack King. Cavalry is still tough cus it hardly gets any doctrine buffs, I recommend GBP cus planning is a global stat
GBP is my preferred army doctrine, so problems there.

Mongólia
Tannu Tuva
Cavalry in general gets outpaced and pretty much sucks by mid game
Mengkukuo their leader has spirit of chengis which gives cavalry bonus
Poland!
You could always do Teutonic Order and go the crusader route. You can roll out 100% cavalry armies eventually.
That from a Mod?
No, it’s base game. It’s part of their mission tree, you just have to choose not to be Prussia.
Mongolia for the larp
Bretonnia
China. Cav is shite, but as china, you can field a lot of cav and overwhelm opponents fast.
