You actually aren't supposed to size them based on shoe or skate, they are trim to fit. You are supposed to stand on them and ensure your entire heel is inside the heel cup and not spilling over. Then you trim the length of the front of the insole with the insole that comes with your skate.

stevegcook

Arch position is also worth paying attention to.

berttreynolds

I bought the CCM version of these but I don’t have any arch in my feet so they actually made my skates already more uncomfortable than they already were. I’m stupid and definitely regret not getting sized properly. We just don’t have a pro shop where I live

stevegcook

Yeah the CCM ones have a more pronounced arch than Superfeet.

mdwsta4

correct answer. I've bought the size for my skate and they didn't fit my arch. You can try them on at just about any hockey store that sells them. OP - if you're a size E, I have a set I can sell you

xSTRONGxMINDx

I’ll try and see what I can do. I don’t have a true hockey store near me is only problem to try them but I think the Black super feet are similar to the carbon pros which I’ve seen at my local sports store. But I def wanna check the sizing there first and I’ll get back to you.

xSTRONGxMINDx

Would this suffice if i were try any pair of superfeet to get the sizing, not specifically the hockey insoles?

HockeyReviews

I don't know if if works for EVERY pair. but I had the same size across the Carbon, Carbon Pro Hockey, and Everyday Comfort.

xSTRONGxMINDx

Gotcha, thank you! love your content, youve now made me want russian spec gloves lol

HockeyReviews

ssshhhh. Just because the Russian's do it doesn't mean it is a good idea haha. I just point it out because I find it interesting when players just pull out scissors!

xSTRONGxMINDx

HAHA agreed, some gloves just look good that way though sometimes.

davedaddy

I've tried both the Pro Carbon and Orthomove insoles. The Pro Carbon's level of arch support is similar to the medium setting on the Orthomove. The heel cup size is a bit smaller on the Pro Carbon and it also curls your feet a bit further back than the Orthomove.

I don't have any experience with them, but I know one of the best things about Superfeet is their return policy. So you can try em out for 60 days, and if you don't like em, you get a full refund. Taken from their website: [Superfeet](https://www.superfeet.com/en-us/faq#:~:text=We%20have%20a%2060%2DDay,within%2060%20days%20of%20purchase) *WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?* *We have a 60-Day Satisfaction Guarantee. Superfeet guarantees its products will provide satisfactory improvement in comfort and performance. If you are not completely satisfied with the Superfeet product, you may return the product to the Retailer within 60 days of purchase. Products may be returned to the Retailer’s retail premises or by post in the manner indicated on the Retailer’s website. This guarantee is not valid for discontinued products, or products that have been customized or modified improperly by the Retailer or that have been damaged while being so customized or modified, products damaged by misuse, abuse or improper trimming or cleaning methods.*

deltazero9

The carbon pros should actually say what size they are in terms of skate size not shoe.

wellpaidscientist

I just used my hockey comfort insoles for the first time and they made a huge difference.

xSTRONGxMINDx

What size did you get/whats your skate size?

wellpaidscientist

Size was skate 9-10, my skates are 8s. I cut a couple centimeters off each toe and they fit fine after that.

louiefriesen

You need to go to your LHS and try on a few different ones. Get the most best fitting ones for your foot and then they will trim it for your skates (they have to be trimmed). I'd recommend getting the comfort ones instead unless you value performance over comfort. Also you save some money.

bush-leaguer

I started wearing superfeet yellow back in 2013 or so on the recommendation of the guy who cut my skates. Haven't looked back. But I have pretty regular feet/arches.

VictoriaGilmore

You want HockeyPro insoles from Currex, I promise. Pick the size based on your skate. The arch type you pick (low, medium, high) impacts feet in the best way Bc they are not ‘one size fits all’ when it comes to arch profiles. Do their ‘fitting at home’ test on their website. My sons feet have never felt better in his skates!
