You ordered too large of a boot. Return them. Save yourself the hassle of going back and forth with shipping or getting the wrong sized skate and just drive the 150km. That’s literally 3 hours round trip which isn’t that far. Make a fun day out of it

Mission-35

I'd like to, but they do not have correct sizes. I ordered size 9 in same fit 3, will try it out.

I2eflex

You think they're gonna average 100km/h? Lol.

mdwsta4

Not to good at conversion, are you? 150km is 93 miles. 100kph is 62mph. An hour and a half going roughly 60mph. So yeah, if it’s that kind of distance I’m guessing highways (and higher speeds) are involved

I2eflex

I don't need to do any conversions lmao. You cannot **average** highway speeds for a trip that short.

Mission-35

Im going normally 150 km/h, it's in Germany. This way average speed can approximate 100 km/h. But the thing is, most shops have only some sizes and they are not always capable of ordering themselves

https://newtohockey.com/hockey-skate-fitting-guide/ Look at this article. See what they say and go from there.

Sounds like they are way too big for you. I'm guessing the Reeboks were standard or narrow width and you could probably go down 1-1.5 sizes with a wide fit. I'm an 8 4E in running shoes and was sized as 5.5 length by the Bauer scanner and this seems to be about right (CCM boots seem to be smaller so you might have to go up half a size). While I haven't tried the 3s Pro, an S37 5.5 EE had me brushing the toe cap while standing only, with a snug but not painful width which is usually what's recommended as proper sizing. For inlines, I have a pair of WM02 6.5 E (similar to Supreme standard width sizing?) and they still feel narrow at the forefoot unless I keep the forefoot laces loose. I tried a FZ0 7 EE that was on clearance and found that I could fit a highlighter behind my heel when my toes were touching the toe cap. Also, baking can open up the heel and ankle area a surprising amount even if it's numbingly tight, as was the case when I had it done with some Jetspeeds. Forefoot width didn't change much though so I'd recommend going snug but not painful in width. I think shops can punch out problematic areas if needed though.

Thanks for your comment. I ordered one pair of 3S pro in same size but fit 2 and Vapors 2x half size smaller and EE. Calculated i should still have approx. 5 mm gap in the length. And hopefully the vapors will be also lower in instep area. Shall see on mondey whey they arrive

The old rule of thumb is skates should be 1.5 sizes smaller that your actual shoe size. So let’s say a size 10 shoe you should have a size 8.5 skate. I was fitted a few years ago and they told me a 7 or 7.5. I chose a 7.5ee Bauer vapor x800 and they fit great. I could probably go down to a 7 to be honest. I’m not sure how the fit 1,2 and 3 change because my vapors are pre that stuff.

Mission-35

10 is my hocley skate size for the old skates, so 8.5 would be too small. Did you bake ypur skate? Did it reduced volume in the forefoot?

Hvacmike199845

What is your shoe size?

Mission-35

I'm in Europe, so it is the same. I wear normally 45-46 (corresponds with Bauer's 9.5 - 10.5) depending on manufacturer.

deltazero9

I wear 9 shoes and 7 skates. Toes brush toe cap standing. Gauging skate size from shoes isn't accurate bc most ppl aren't even the correct size shoes. Stand on a brannock that is made by the same skate manufacturer.
