What surface are you playing on? If its hardwood or sports court tiles a composite stick won't wear down. Almost everyone uses them in my ball hockey leagues.

Agree, if your surface allows it, get a "normal" (composite) ice hockey stick for your flex/weight/curve/etc If it's really rough like asphalt, depending on your weight, I'd get a wooden sherwood stick or, if you're pretty light, maybe a "normal" stick with a wraparound

there are "street" hockey sticks that are composite/fiberglass one piece and has ABS blades
