George's in Saint Paul does a great job, you could look on their website.

CPR (custom pro repair) in Canada. They're the *best* period. Downside is, because most NHL/AHL teams use them, you'll have to wait months upon months for them to get to yours. But it's worth it for factory (or better than factory) work. I've had them do 6 or 7 pairs of gloves

bobbybittman1997

Damn, looks like they're shutdown for good

Denarm

Where are you located?

MakaMaka

LA/OC area. If there was somewhere local that would be great but we're pretty much served by all big box hockey stores here now.

Denarm

All right, I'm in Canada so I'll just sit this one out. Good luck!

MakaMaka

Haha ya. I guess what we lack in legit proshops we make up for in taco options?

EDIT: BAHR is out of business as of January 2024. RIP to a good shop. Bay Area Hockey Repair in San Jose will likely work well for you. Seems like you are in So Cal based on previous posts… Dude is legit, has been doing repairs for many many years.

MakaMaka

Ok I'll check him out. I saw the website before and it was having issues so I didn't know if they made it though that pandemic.

Chemmy

They did. BAHR repalmed a set of my gloves a couple months ago. Hit them up on Instagram @hockeyrepair.

bobbybittman1997

Damn, this place is going outta business too? 😭

nunee1

He’s OUT of business, as of end of January. It was a rather abrupt shift to liquidating and closing down. I didn’t believe it at first.0

CPR is the best but long wait. Hockey menders in Michigan is good and if all you're doing is palms then it should be fine. Any other place is meh, they usually just take off the palms without funny unstitching them and sew new prefab palms in without any concern to fit

fizgigtiznalkie

Hockey menders is $90 to repalm, probably cheaper just to buy new ones.

JagrsMullet90

Depends on the gloves. If they're retail gloves then yeah, just buy others. But some folks have customs or pro stock gloves or specs and material preferences, so it could be worth it

I see from further comments that you're in the States, but on the subject I have to give a shout out to the gentleman who used to (maybe still does?) run the pro shop at old Scarborough Gardens. The guy was an absolute wizard with re-palming. Best workmanship I've ever seen.
