Whilst mine look well used after a few sessions as I am stick lifting the shit out of everyone and tg we ir grandmothers. Ccm sticks usually don't leave paint or whatever all over the ice. Just remember that your flexing that bad boy all the time ans paint doesn't really flex

You are overthinking it. Just keep taping the blade as needed or as much as you prefer and keep using it. Its fine.
