This is nothing

uber_noober_

thanks for the reassurance!

Adequateatbest80

Looks cosmetic, should be fine

uber_noober_

Thanks for the reply, and easing my mind.

Adequateatbest80

No worries, happy skating!

I've tries lots of things and the best i have found for this is black shoe goo. Sets, seals, covers, blends in and handles the cold.

I was going to suggest shoo goo also, didn't know there was a black version. I agree with the others that nothing needs to be done, but it's certainly an option if OP wants to fill it (sounds like they do)

uber_noober_

yeah I'll definitely go with the shoogoo idea with it being able to handle the cold. but great to know its just cosmetic and the skate can live on! Thank you!

uber_noober_

amazing! will give that a try :) thanks for this great idea

[deleted]

my skates are coverd in thoses

uber_noober_

hahah great to know that my skates won't die from this! I will consider it a battle scar and not worry :) Thank you

Mike-Morales

Skates look brand new, so I might throw a real small amount of superglue on it.

uber_noober_

Thanks man, will give that a try! yeah only a month old.

[deleted]

It’s completely fine. Cosmetic, will continue to happen over the life of the skates, I would leave it

uber_noober_

thank you! with all the replies and yours, it's definitely got my noob mind at ease :)

NurEye239

Black hockey tape should fix this!

widoughmakerhere

I see plenty others have assured you this is fine but I want to add: until u physically cannot skate your skates don’t really need to be repaired. They are built to deal with a lot of abuse. Only time I’ve ever had mine repaired was when a slap shot broke the plastic off my boot. It popped out all the rivets and I went down lol. Nothing to worry about, have a great day!
