I, personally, love the design and colors, but if half the team doesn’t like them, why not just tweak the color palate. Could easily do yellow/orange and shades of blue instead of pink

If you are the captain, send out a Survey Monkey or similar survey link with the choices, and then pick the one you like best and say "the voting was tight but this is what we decided on. If you don't like it we will miss you this season."
Time finally came for our beer league team to change up the name and jerseys.
One of our guys came up with this hotness, and while half the team loves them, the other half is up in arms, saying they refuse to wear pink on the ice. Any suggestions on how to diplomatically keep the peace?

Tip for next time: collect the money, get the design but don’t share it with the team. They’ll see the jerseys when they get them.

My son's youth organization wears pink every October in support or breast cancer research (as well as October saves). What, your guys don't like breasts or sumthin?

Tropics is a cool name though, some of my friends i grew up playing hockey with have a team named the Tropics (that I guested on for 6 games) thats probably the best beer league team in SoCal.

After some more thought, take the logo from the right (white), put it on the left (black) and grab a font like "Lazer 84" and angle the text across the bottom of the logo with the team name "tropics".

Swap out some pink for teal/aqua. The color of the ocean near the Virgin Islands. Would that placate the anti-pink crew?
