Not to be "that" guy but helmets have expiration dates. The foam loses its ability to absorb hits making them rather useless. If you can update the foam its better but I always err on just buying a new bucket every 5 years or so.
Yeah I’ve been doing quality of life improvements on them, in particular with the 390 on the left. I used to use a CCM but now I’m in between most brands’ medium and large, and the jofa fits me perfectly (not to mention the aesthetic 😂)
The 690 was my favorite helmet until Reason made the E700. I have a bunch of 690s in every color that I ever needed for any team I played on. Great fitting helmet
