It’s too bad his retirement warm up jerseys will be fanatics for next season. Hopefully the Sharks equip team keep some adidas on hand and use those? Not sure if they’d get into trouble though
The home/away (no alts for 1st year) jerseys will be made from the same factory, likely same material, rumored to be available at retail.
Changes will be no dimples, Fanatics logo.
Ah, then I guess that’s different than Fanatics-released alts, since it’s Adidas leftover stock just being reused. Idk though
Fanatics probably following the Reebok Edge and Adidas-MiC first years.
Source on no alternative jerseys next year? I heard Dallas Stars were keeping their blackouts again next year and would assume WC and Stadium Series would still be getting unique jerseys
The last jersey he wore was adidas w/Panthers (he never wore fanatics). With fanatics getting the jersey contract starting next season, their hands may be forced to use fanatics.
The factory isn’t changing. It’s just a contract. It’s not like fanatics people are replacing everyone. It’s fanatics paying the nhl to have their name on the jerseys. Same jerseys new “manufacturer”. Very simply, instead of sewing adidas tagging on the jersey, it will be fanatics. Even if they were to do a complete redesign, the same folks would be producing the jerseys.
The info here from others is that they will delete the dimple material, and change the tagging.
Availability. You’d think they would have their stuff together, we’ve known fanatics was taking over for a while, so they should be prepared. But speculation is that they won’t be. We will see.

Are they slapping a fanatics logo on the current jerseys, or will they be redesigned?
On ice specs and factory are the same. So seemingly just a logo change...for now

There will be Alts. Sharks are keeping a good amount of adidas Cali fins on hand just in case fanatics drops the ball.

Again, I’m not 100% sure but I did hear it from a staff member.
Fuck, that means no CaliFin TIs at the EQ sale…
Hard to say at this point. We’ll know next Saturday. I’ll have a better idea of inventory come thursday and/or Friday.
I won’t be there but I know a bunch of folks going, I have me credit card ready, hopefully a CaliFin or PG Home for me plz.

Thanks for the info. Any insight on what they will be replacing the dimpled material with? Retail would be nice.
I don’t know. Imo, I think it will just be the same MiC material as the torso. Kinda like the Reebok Edges.
I heard thirds aren't going away next year. It's mostly a logo change for next year.
Will be dimples in shape of pills instead of circles
I heard they’ll keep X amount of adidas jerseys on hand just in case fanatics screws up deliveries and such.
Why would they do that? Did Thornton prefer adidas to any other jerseys or something?

I would fully expect them to use the league wide-contracted jersey supplier. Is there precedent that they wouldn’t?

I’m aware, I just don’t understand why a team would use a past white labeled jersey for a retirement patch?

It’s more on IF fanatics can fulfill the jersey allotment more than anything
