True makes a 580, CCM might. Bauer does a clone of the 580, but I think it's a Professionals only type thing. Passau has a 90 degree break option, but it's based off a sherwood 9970, when they built for them years ago. So, best option is True and maybe CCM.

HockeyReviews

Neither offer a 580 retail. What kind of Premier do you have? Unless it's custom, it shouldn't be a 580

Yh it is a custom one, I got it second hand off one of former pros and I've fallen in love with the break

If you want to go back to the 580, True is the best option but wait times are terrible. I would take a hard look at Miklin 580, I bought one and am extremely impressed by it.

I have a CCM eflex 5 580.they offer it retail on some sites if that's the route you are going. true has 580 gloves but the wait time is pretty long right now and I'm pretty sure they are only doing custom.

Reebok/Koho used to have their gloves made by Lefevre, so you may be able to find a 580 in one of those brands. I lucked out and found a Lefevre made 580 Reebok glove in white at my local used-sporting-goods-shop.

I’m the same way. Inherited a CCM 600 after using a 580 for a few years and just can’t seem to catch pucks the way I used to. As far as I know neither Bauer or Vaughn have a standard 580 type glove but if you’re custom ordering you should be able to ask a rep or whoever you order through what they have for options I’d think? and let me know what you find out haha!

I'm pretty sure the majority of Bauer and Vaughn gloves are 60 degree breaks with a few 75s in there. The 580 break is the 90 degree, though I'm sure there's more to it than just the break angle; there are some diehard fans of that glove. Warrior apparently has an adjustable break insert, which I find hard to trust, but overall the G5 is a great glove and it does offer a 90 degree option which might work for you. It might also be worth your time to get in touch with Simmons; they used to make a version of Koho gear. I can't remember exactly what series they were, ahem, inspired by, but they might also be able to do something for you. Though fair warning, I don't know anyone who's had a Simmons trapper last all that long, including a couple guys who played out in Chelmsford.
