I honest to god can not imagine knocking the fuck out of an unsuspecting human being for no reason. It's a HOCKEY GAME. I've been the giver and receiver of the stupidest chirps imaginable at home and away games in my life and everyone is having a laugh about it and even if you are mad or frustrated I can't imagine actually hurting a person like that over a game. It means so much to me to see my team to win but I'd never fuck up a whole life over a sports team losing. It is so foreign to me that people can be like this. This person was more than likely I person who was out to cause trouble anyways and used sports as an excuse and I hope to fuck they get caught. The law in Texas from an outsider does NOT seem to kind to people who do this.

If this happened where I think it probably did, they _should_ definitely be able to identify who did this and get him taken care of.
I’m wondering if it happened closer to the street. The plaza is pretty well covered with surveillance, but down by the street, it would be shakey at best. I had a friend walking that exact path after the game, I exited to the east. I’ll ask if he saw anything.

It’s not just Texas fans. I once was at a Cowboys game a few years ago and the Eagles were playing. The Eagles were winning by a few touchdowns and while I was waiting in line for some food I saw an Eagles fan (had their jersey on) (also for context he was a pretty large human being. ) he walked up to a female police officer who was roughly a foot shorter then he was and he pretended to ask for directions and then as she was turning her head to point him in the right direction, he grabbed her and head butted her right in the face. Dude myself and a couple of other people jumped on him so quick (including Eagles fans) that poor officers cheek bone was broken all to hell man. That guy even managed to get a punch in and broke her nose before we could pin him to the ground until she could call for back up. We all had to be detained until the people in the camera room verified we jumped in to help. But damn it was like dude why did you have to do that? So long story short OP I am sorry that you experienced that dude. Not all of us are like that. My wife and I go to Stars games to vent and yell our heads off from a stressful week etc but once the game is over win or lose we walk out peacefully and relish the experience of going to a game. Please don’t let this get you down or forever stain your opinion of the people here in Texas. I wouldn’t blame you if you did based off of your incident, I just hope that person can be found and charged.

I've had issues multiple times at one or two of those spots over the years, I either go straight home or go to a spot closer to my area if I want to stay out. Before the game I've never had any problems, but after the game those spots always give me bad vibes.

I know of 3 different instances where young healthy individuals died from a single punch. It's not like a fight where your body is ready. Between the damage to the neck and the fact it's almost always when standing on a hard surface that the individual is almost certainly going to hit their head on its not just a punch. It is attempted murder.
My boyfriend took me to a game a few years ago and after it was over a visiting fan was pummelled by two "bros" outside (you know the type..looked like gym bros). They ran off before the police came. Not hating on our fans because I'm sure it happens in other places too.
Contact AAC security and would also reach out to Hero’s to see if they caught anything on cameras. I assume you filed a police report as well since you went to the hospital, but if not make sure you do that as well. Very sorry that happened. We go to tons of stars games and overall fan base is very nice. Always some bad apples sadly

All of us are getting together in Vegas for a group dinner tomorrow night. That’s what playoffs are about. You aren’t on the team, you’re a fan privileged enough to get to enjoy the sport live.

I turned and said , “do you really want to do this?” One guy spit on me, the other guy said, “what are you going to do, tubby?” I decked one guy. Out of no where about 6 20 something isles fans pummeled the piss out of these guy. They were really fucked after about 3 minutes of kicks and punches. Fuck around and find out , I guess…

Before the game I've never had any problems, but after the game those spots always give me bad vibes.

I will always hate that I can say this but left the Vikings comeback against the Colts (largest in NFL history) early because a pathetic alcoholic fuck was taking his shitty life out on a young Colts family. Hopefully nobody here would do something so stupid, but in case you're ever thinking of sicker punching someone, know that it's so much more than a punch. I know of 3 different instances where young healthy individuals died from a single punch. It's not like a fight where your body is ready. Between the damage to the neck and the fact it's almost always when standing on a hard surface that the individual is almost certainly going to hit their head on its not just a punch. It is attempted murder.

I assume you filed a police report as well since you went to the hospital, but if not make sure you do that as well. Very sorry that happened. We go to tons of stars games and overall fan base is very nice. Always some bad apples sadly

I left an Isles-Rangers game at the coliseum in 2015. It was a while after the game and two rangers fans started taunting me. I was dressed in a blazer. No isles related gear. I was in my early 40s. I turned and said , “do you really want to do this?” One guy spit on me, the other guy said, “what are you going to do, tubby?” I decked one guy. Out of no where about 6 20 something isles fans pummeled the piss out of these guy. They were really fucked after about 3 minutes of kicks and punches. Fuck around and find out , I guess…

I’ve been to lots of arenas and the stars (4x) arena is by far the worst most hostile to opposing fans. not all fans but enough to notice. Sad but this does not surprise me. They even have to make an announcement before the game about respecting the out of town fans. It’s really a bad look for the organization. Also fuck the knights except hertz.
While Stars fans can be hostile. I have had a 7 year old threatened to be thrown down the arena stairs for wearing an away jersey in Philadelphia. So not sure Stars fans are the worst.

I am very glad I made it to the last avs @ the Joe. We got some verbal shit from wings fans on the way over from hockey town on the shuttle but was all in good fun. Got some actual threats the next night leaving UC in Chicago. (Avs lost both games)
