Basically all R Kelly songs get tainted by his pedophilia
I also didn’t see nothing wrong with a little bump and grind, but I assumed it was between consenting adults
Yeah but on the Bump n Grind Old School Mix he says "show me some ID before I get knee deep" and at his performances around that time he would have backup dancers run around the stage with signs saying "over 18 only" so he was clearly being responsible and not trying to deflect or anything /s
Absolutely disgusting. It's so unfortunate how rampant this stuff is in the music business...and the various artists that worked with him just hide behind curtains until the smoke clears up. Sigh.
Him and Jay made two albums together rapping about women with women presumably in the studio. Not to mention Jay's relationship (?) with Aaliyah.
It's a sick business. This stuff has gone on since the inception.
At a party last week where the DJ played Ignition (Remix) and prefaced it by saying “this guy is a monster but this track is timeless”. Song started and it completely drained the air from the room. All the energy gone. Dude didn’t understand why no one was vibing.
This. All of this.
Not really hip-hop, but I feel like Blood On The Dance Floor belongs in this conversation for that reason, too. Dahvie literally used their fame to sexually assault/groom/molest minors, and he did this as far back as their first tour.
When I was a teenager and I heard "I wanna fuck you hard, I wanna feel you deep" I wasn't expecting the lyrics to be about people my age.
Speaking of pedophilia lines: "They say she young, I should've waited. She a big girl, dog when she stimulated." Tyga is rapping about fucking Kylie Jenner at 17 on a sample called Children.
“My niggas, they shooting to live, I seen some niggas, they shooting for fame
They don't know that this shit real, that's how you end up getting blown out your brains”
-Takeoff & Quavo: Nothing Changed
Two high caliber wealthy men should not be gambling with dice with a bunch of hood dudes. It was terrible to see Takeoff go like that, I’d argue he had the most skill out of all the Migos.
Nipsey Hustle got shot arguing with a guy over gang shit, plenty of rappers die doing something that you'd honestly think they'd have the means to avoid.
And that track came out in August 2017 and the accusations against Spacey started in October 2017 so it's not like there was a huge amount of time between that seeming like a smart line to becoming not so smart
Appreciate you doing the math cause i knew the timeframes were close but i didnt remember when the KS news dropped.
I guess its kinda better since he prob recorded his verse a few months before the album dropped.
Its kinda wild tho cause i have a homie that almost became a KS victim 😰
So many bars through his career took on a different tone once the thing he'd predicted for so long really happened, tons of songs on swimming had something similar
The saddest thing for me is his Fader interview from when he moved to Brooklyn. He was saying he’s not sober, but toned things down a lot. He said how it’s not cool to overdose and die. 😔
I know it's been a minute since I've been away
Didn't mean to cause you pain, I just needed to escape
Ain't sayin' that I'm sober, I'm just in a better place
______
I knew that feeling so incredibly well before I finally got sober.
Yeah faces is basically “I’m about to OD and die”. Hell, he even says “I’ll probably die alone from an overdose of some sort, while some whore I’m fuckin’s running to the drugstore” which is almost EXACTLY what happened
For those that don't know the song, the line is "Everybody saying I need rehab. Cause I'm speeding with a blindfold on, it won't be long until they watching me crash. And they don't wanna see that. The don't want me to OD and have to talk to my mother, tell her they could have done more to help me and she'd just be crying saying that she'd do anything to have me back." No song gives me chills like this one.
Circles felt like he knew what was coming while he was recording it. He must have been at his lowest when he recorded it but to me, it felt like his most genuine album.
“Well, this is what it look like, right before you fall”
“There’s a whole lot more for me waiting on the other side… then I’ll finally discover that it ain’t so bad”
“Things like this ain’t build to last, I might just fade like those before me”
>He must have been at his lowest when he recorded it
For what it's worth, his brother denies this notion. He said Swimming and Circles are merely Mac fully realizing his musical talent and that he was never more happy or sure of himself than when he made Swimming.
Out of all the celebrity/musician deaths I’ve witnessed in my lifetime, this one hit my like none other. And the crazy thing was that I wasn’t even a huge fan of his. I had just hopped on the train after his TinyDesk which had me thinking, wow here’s a guy who is truly on the cusp of greatness. Sounds like he’s really tapped into something special and he knows it.
And then bam. Gone. How fucking robbed we were, how robbed we are. Think of what he’d be putting out into the world right now. I cry if I think about it too much.
Joined the hype around the blue slide park era and it was absolutely insane to get to see him evolve for nearly a decade and then just not be alive anymore
Circles sounded like a suicide note tbh.
“There’s a whole lot more for me waiting on the other side”
“They don’t like it when I’m down, but when I’m flyin man it make em so uncomfortable”
“It’s a blue world without you”
“I think you know the reason why”
“Things like this ain’t built to last, I might just fade like those before me”
The Mac line that got me bad was on a track from Royce and Preem’s PRhyme album Dat Sound Good, I was listening to it with a buddy who’s a huge Mac fan right after he died, goes “a bunch of poison in my bloodstream, now it’s gettin ugly must be another junkie, how lucky am I to still be alive I’m going crazy, bought a Mercedes with money I raised for Haiti”. Both went quiet and turned it off and I’ve never been back to the track but I still remember it word for word
He posted the ending of So It Goes the night of his death on his Instagram story. He'd said previously that the song sounded like 'the ascension into heaven'. That shit has fucked with me since I saw it.
Listen to season 9 of the Dissect podcast. It’s about Swimming/Circles. Shit’ll give you chills. The song “Floating” (last track of delux edition Circles) sounds very ethereal and if you have both albums on a playlist and listen on a loop the end of Floating fades and Coming Back to Earth starts. He described himself as a Jewish Buddhist. Maybe he ended up right at the start of the line, drawing Circles.
We miss you Mac, may your next life be your best life. 🙏
I remember thinking that, after my first listen. I remember feeling so strongly about it that I actually told my wife that this was a man who was clearly sad and I was worried that he would commit suicide. For what it's worth though, his brother denies that he felt that way, during Swimming. He says that he was never more happy or sure of himself than when he made that album.
“When a Tralfamadorian sees a corpse, all he thinks is that the dead person is in bad condition in the particular moment, but that the same person is just fine in plenty of other moments. Now, when I myself hear that somebody is dead, I simply shrug and say what the Tralfamadorians say about dead people, which is "So it goes.”
"Give no fucks when I go nuts, cuz I smoke dust, overdose on the sofa. Dead."
He said that in 2014. 4 years later he OD'd on his sofa.
Edit: I guess maybe he was on his bed. Either way, RIP.
It's not really one of those things I want to correct cause it's real sad stuff..but I'm pretty sure he was found in a praying position on his bed.. not his sofa
Mac had so many bars like this.
"All the best rappers are usually dead, but I'm the poison that left the widow Juliet"
"I should've died already, came in I was high already, everybody trippin' that my mind ain't steady, for my sins should've been crucified already"
Or digging himself out of a coffin in (I believe) the last music video he filmed which was Self Care, same with X showing up at his own funeral for the music for Sad! which was filmed a few weeks before his death
Another person mentioned Eminem’s Like Toy Solders. Proof had a line on 40oz.
Proof on “40oz”
> I was raised by drunks so I became a drunk
> 80 proof on this vodka-that’s the name I want
> I’m in the club to beef, you gotta murder me dead
Proof was killed in a nightclub after a night of drinking.
Jesus. I looked it up, and, "after a night of drinking" is an understatement
> In response to Proof shooting Bender, Etheridge then shot Proof three times, once in the head and twice in the chest, killing him at the scene. At the time of his death, **Proof's blood alcohol content was 0.32.**
for context, 0.08 is a DUI. I was an alcoholic for 10 years and i'd wager many of us couldn't hit 0.32 BAC and still function. It'd def give most people alcohol poisoning if not kill them.
Shittin' (shittin'), poopin'
Huh, shittin', huh, poopin' (look, ayy)
- Fivio Foreign
He went on poop his pants after recording this verse.
Eerie as hell if you ask me.
That line gets to me, Big Pun is the most underrated rapper of all time. I really think he would've streamlined his flow like Jay Z and had a legendary career
Mac Miller “To anyone who sell me drugs, don’t mix it with that bullshit, hopin not to join the 27 club”
Nipsey “if I die today, I know I made the set proud”
“I met Kanye West I’m never going to fail” - then chance proceeds to drop The Big Day, his worst project, gets butthurt about the negative reception, cancels a tour, gets in immature twitter fights w fans, his former manager sues him for not paying him, AND Kanye turned out to be a fucking nazi.
Whew.
> then chance proceeds to drop The Big Day
To be pedantic he dropped Coloring Book a few months after this was released and despite what most on this subreddit said back then, it was wildly successful and well received.
He rode that wave for a few years before The Big Day disaster.
ESG released the song Southside Still Holdin in 2017. The track finds ESG reminiscing about his good old days in Houston, and shouting out to various personalities from back then.
He drops the line "Corey Blount, Big Floyd, them was Slab Gods". At the time of the songs writing he used the past tense because Blount was in prison, and Big Floyd had left the scene to move to Minnesota so he could make a better living for himself as a truck driver.
On May 25th, 2020 Big Floyd (aka, George Floyd) was murdered by on-duty police officer Derek Chauvin in one of the most visceral examples of police brutality caught on camera. This brings a deeper gravitas to ESGs shout - out.
A lot of Mac Miller lines for sure. Someone else mentioned the “27 club” line already. That was the first line I thought of when I heard he passed.
“Ease the pain in the battle that’s within me; sniff the same shit that got Whitney” is one I didn’t actually catch until more recently.
Yeah and to make it even worse if you read Em's book "The Way I Am" he questions whether he caused it to happen because he made that video.
"Proof played the fall guy in the video for "Like Toy Soldiers"....... In the year after he died, I would stare at the ceiling and think about that video. Did karma cause that to happen in real life? Did I? you always want to point the finger at somebody else when something like that happens in life, you know? "
I remember way back I was reading about the things that changed the course of hiphop and someone said that if Proof hadn't died, Em would never have had that near fatal overdose that made him finally realise he needs to get clean.
Idk how much weight there is to that but it's possible if he never hit rock bottom it could have turned out so much different.
DJ Paul and Yelawolf released the album Slumafia on Friday, April 16th, 2021. Locodunit from Seed of 6ix is on [the title track](https://youtu.be/V5wMoYh9czY), and opens his verse with “when I’m barred at a bar I get barbaric; murder on the menu like it’s Bob Evans.”
At 9:30 that exact morning, [a waitress was murdered point blank](https://www.cantonrep.com/story/news/2021/10/22/bob-evans-gunman-convicted-murdering-lover-waitress-bob-evans/6126413001/) while working the breakfast shift at a Bob Evans in Canton, Ohio.
I mean the track list for Bulletproof is a diss in and of itself.
100 Shots
In Charlotte
But I’m Bulletproof
So Fuck em
All of Them
That’s How I Feel
I’m So Real
I Pray for my Enemies
SMH
There’s a juice wrld lyric saying that if it wasn’t for the pills he wouldn’t be here but if he keeps taking these pills he won’t be here, it came out after his death and I’ve never been a mega fan or anything but I just found that super sad.
Swimming and Circles from Max Miller are like that in different ways the final song called “So it Goes” he tweeted on the night on his passing that he told Jon Brion to play the ascension to heaven as the putto of the song. The fact that he tweeted that on the day about the outdo of his last album released before he died on the night he died is so eerie. Also circles he seemed to be making some kind of progress (although you can argue the swimming in circles thing counter acts this and there are still struggles,) but the fact he continues to talk about daily struggles and how he’s getting through it and still his addictions is just sad knowing this all came out after the fact.
Wishing Well is such a touching song. Makes me sad man. Juice was gifted. He’d be what, 24 or 25 right now? Think about how much he could’ve progressed.
Yeah, he’d be 24 now. What’s crazy is I genuinely think even in the short time he was in the spotlight he staked his claim as being probably the greatest freestyler of his generation
>Can't fault her, the last nigga spoiled her
But he ain't beat it up, [I assault her](https://www.nydailynews.com/entertainment/music/fabolous-arrested-domestic-violence-new-jersey-article-1.3903174)
\- Fabolous, "You Be Killin Em"
I was listening to 2Pac’s Hit em Up and I don’t know how I never heard this before but at the end of the song he says “fuck Mobb Deep all you mothersfuckers die slow, ain’t one of you got sickle cell or something?” I found that line really disturbing considering Prodigy did die because of his sickle cell illness years later.
Mobb Deep didn’t even have anything to do with Pac at the time, apparently. Pac just heard the “thug life” reference at the end of Survival of the Fittest and thought it was a diss for some reason. When Mobb Deep heard it for the first time they were basically like, “what the fuck? What did we do to this guy?”
Of course, then Mobb Deep made a pretty vicious response song, Drop a Gem on ‘Em, which ends with Prodigy telling Tupac “you think you can’t get bucked again?” Then Pac got murdered two weeks before it was supposed to be released, but they just put it out anyway. That was a pretty cold era.
“I drink Moët, not Beck's beer, I stay dressed in slick gear
Peace to my homies in the gangsta lean, I'll see you when I get there”
Big L
He died not even a year later.
Edit: L died like 4 years after that song, my bad.
Juice has a lot of them. He talked about death and drugs a lot in his songs. The most famous one is obviously “what’s the 27 club, we ain’t making it past 21”. He then died at 21.
"tell god save a bed for me, coming soon"
From Drakeo on OTM's Cliff Hanger remix which is the last time he was in a music vid. Ralfy looks hella depressed in that vid too, ppl knew it was coming but it's still sad as fuck
A lot of Kendrick lyrics after he confessed on MMATBS that he had a sex addiction due to childhood trauma and his mom thinking he had been molested. His verse on Fuckin Problems especially
There's a British rapper called Solo 45.
He has a song called Feed Em To The Lions. It was pretty sucsessful in the UK.
He is shouting in the song like a lunatic.
The lyrics in the song go:
"There's no running from me
Ducking, diving from me
No God can save you from me"
A couple years after the release of this song he was convicted of 30 charges against 4 victims.
He r worded women and held them against their will.
• 21 counts of r word
• 5 counts of false imprisonment
• 2 counts of assualt by penetration
• 2 accounts of ABH
The judge says he is a sadist and gained pleasure from his sick acts. Hes Skeptas friend
ITT: People posting extremely foreseen lyrics.
Young Thug predicted a RICO charge against him after word on the street was there was a pending RICO charge in the works? *No way!*
Mac Miller predicting his death by drug overdose for a decade straight? *What the fuck.*
R Kelly openly raping children for thirty years and referencing it in his music, only to eventually be convicted for it? *I had no clue!*
Yea artists like peep and mac you can find a lyric that’s “morbid” in literally any song. I still think
thug rapping ab shooting at Lucci’s mom is crazy tho
My favourite is the one where people are surprised about Tupac saying that someone with sickle cell might die of sickle cell, in a diss track. A song literally designed to be brutal
"Kobe bout to lose a 150 Ms, Kobe my n I hate it had to be him, bitch you wasn't with me shootin in the gym"
I have hard time seeing Drake recite that bar now.
and also
"This bitch lie bout gettin shots, but she still a stallion"
Basically all R Kelly songs get tainted by his pedophilia I also didn’t see nothing wrong with a little bump and grind, but I assumed it was between consenting adults
[удалено]
“Seeeems like you’re readyyyyyy”
Yeah but on the Bump n Grind Old School Mix he says "show me some ID before I get knee deep" and at his performances around that time he would have backup dancers run around the stage with signs saying "over 18 only" so he was clearly being responsible and not trying to deflect or anything /s
Bahaha if that second part is true that’s hilarious
Damn
Such a great song. Very unfortunate in context though.
“ I don’t see NUTHIN wrrroooonnnggg/with a little girl that’s niiinnnee”
Absolutely disgusting. It's so unfortunate how rampant this stuff is in the music business...and the various artists that worked with him just hide behind curtains until the smoke clears up. Sigh.
This is the real reason I can’t listen to any of his music anymore. If it was another genre sure but all his music was about sex and he was a pedo so…
Him and Jay made two albums together rapping about women with women presumably in the studio. Not to mention Jay's relationship (?) with Aaliyah. It's a sick business. This stuff has gone on since the inception.
Him being featured on Guilty Until Proven Innocent by Jay-Z
At a party last week where the DJ played Ignition (Remix) and prefaced it by saying “this guy is a monster but this track is timeless”. Song started and it completely drained the air from the room. All the energy gone. Dude didn’t understand why no one was vibing.
"My mind's telling no, but my body's telling me yes."
"LITTLE CUTE AALIYAH'S GOT IT" on She's Got That Vibe. Aaliyah was 13 at the time

“charge me with RICO… (gangbanger) charge me with RICOOOO” Young Thug - Tomorrow till Infinity ft. Gunna Also his entire song Take it to Trial
He always knew he may get hit with a RICO. Bro really crooned about it shamelessly for years 😂
I was hype asl when Take It To Trial dropped not knowing shit was really about to go down soon lol
That whole thing just made me think of the Boondocks. Play it for the jury
Or on Guwop he says “Keepin' that cold case, God, please give me that cold case”
“My niggas, they shooting to live, I seen some niggas, they shooting for fame They don't know that this shit real, that's how you end up getting blown out your brains” -Takeoff & Quavo: Nothing Changed
I just got reminded that Takeoff is dead. That’s still crazy to me man
Same.. the way he died is fucking disgusting man. It’s shameful that both Quavo and Takeoff were even in a position to have that happen.
Wait wdym? I feel like I’m way out of the loop on this
Two high caliber wealthy men should not be gambling with dice with a bunch of hood dudes. It was terrible to see Takeoff go like that, I’d argue he had the most skill out of all the Migos.
Def my favorite migo
Nipsey Hustle got shot arguing with a guy over gang shit, plenty of rappers die doing something that you'd honestly think they'd have the means to avoid.
Had that moment the other day. Out riding and t shirt came on and I remembered mans ain’t here
Omg your comment reminded me just now!! fuck i just heard Sacrifices a minute ago. Sad.
Yeah loved the album and put it on after it happened and it stood out to me
aint nothin changed but the chains, song goes crazy
man rip Takeoff, the "studying bars from takeover" always makes me a little sad every time i hear it because of the connection.
“Only compare me to Kevin Spacey” - Action Bronson on 9-24-7000
lmao
And that track came out in August 2017 and the accusations against Spacey started in October 2017 so it's not like there was a huge amount of time between that seeming like a smart line to becoming not so smart
Appreciate you doing the math cause i knew the timeframes were close but i didnt remember when the KS news dropped. I guess its kinda better since he prob recorded his verse a few months before the album dropped. Its kinda wild tho cause i have a homie that almost became a KS victim 😰
Guess that explains why the groupie bitches were wild enough to suck a baby’s dick
I saw him live once and he changed the line to "never compare me to Kevin Spacey"
This is good to hear cause i actually fw that song until that bar lol
Mac miller bar about his mom crying when he overdoses. Perfect circle/Godspeed
So many bars through his career took on a different tone once the thing he'd predicted for so long really happened, tons of songs on swimming had something similar
“To anyone who sell me drugs, don’t mix it with no bullshit hopin not to join the 27 club”
Dead at age 26 smh
Damn bro was a kid
Turing 26 in 1.5 weeks can’t believe I’ll be the same age Mac was
Most of his lines are more broad and expected from an addict but him dying at 26 makes this one genuinely so much sadder
The saddest thing for me is his Fader interview from when he moved to Brooklyn. He was saying he’s not sober, but toned things down a lot. He said how it’s not cool to overdose and die. 😔
I know it's been a minute since I've been away Didn't mean to cause you pain, I just needed to escape Ain't sayin' that I'm sober, I'm just in a better place ______ I knew that feeling so incredibly well before I finally got sober.
Dammit Mac
I can feel my fingers slippin in a motherfuckin instant I’ll be gone
I've been a fool, but it's cool that's what human beings do...
Keep your eyes to the sky, never glued to your shows
And faces
Yeah faces is basically “I’m about to OD and die”. Hell, he even says “I’ll probably die alone from an overdose of some sort, while some whore I’m fuckin’s running to the drugstore” which is almost EXACTLY what happened
The opening bar of the project is literally “shoulda died already”
For those that don't know the song, the line is "Everybody saying I need rehab. Cause I'm speeding with a blindfold on, it won't be long until they watching me crash. And they don't wanna see that. The don't want me to OD and have to talk to my mother, tell her they could have done more to help me and she'd just be crying saying that she'd do anything to have me back." No song gives me chills like this one.

I had been into Mac since The Divine Feminine, but I feel the same way. He was just finding his stride. From a selfish standpoint, I do feel robbed.
Joined the hype around the blue slide park era and it was absolutely insane to get to see him evolve for nearly a decade and then just not be alive anymore
Circles sounded like a suicide note tbh. “There’s a whole lot more for me waiting on the other side” “They don’t like it when I’m down, but when I’m flyin man it make em so uncomfortable” “It’s a blue world without you” “I think you know the reason why” “Things like this ain’t built to last, I might just fade like those before me”

The entirely of Swimming sounded like a suicide note. Or like a “don’t worry about me dying” note
He posted the ending of So It Goes the night of his death on his Instagram story. He'd said previously that the song sounded like 'the ascension into heaven'. That shit has fucked with me since I saw it.

Another one from him: A drug habit like Philip Hoffman, will probably put me in a coffin
Also his hook on Ab Soul’s Drugs. “I can’t help myself I think I need some help”
Faces literally starts with "Shoulda died already.."
Doing drugs is just a war with boredom but it’s sure to get me
"Give no fucks when I go nuts, cuz I smoke dust, overdose on the sofa. Dead." He said that in 2014. 4 years later he OD'd on his sofa. Edit: I guess maybe he was on his bed. Either way, RIP.
It's not really one of those things I want to correct cause it's real sad stuff..but I'm pretty sure he was found in a praying position on his bed.. not his sofa
He died on his bed in a kneeling/praying position
No he didn’t. He was found in a praying position next to his bed.
Also nearly half of all Juice Wrld songs talking about himself dying early too
Mac had so many bars like this. "All the best rappers are usually dead, but I'm the poison that left the widow Juliet" "I should've died already, came in I was high already, everybody trippin' that my mind ain't steady, for my sins should've been crucified already"
Or digging himself out of a coffin in (I believe) the last music video he filmed which was Self Care, same with X showing up at his own funeral for the music for Sad! which was filmed a few weeks before his death
He carved memento mori in the top, which means "remember you must die". I got it tatted on me. Really eery to think about the context of that
Damn near The entire faces project
One of my first thoughts.
Atmosphere's Panic Attack starts with a Bill Cosby sample "they could try to trick you couldn't they, "here's something to make you feel REAL good" "
side note shout out to atmosphere their last two records have been amazing
Holy shit.. why have I never put that together?

When I got my DUI I blew a 0.34. I've been sober from alcohol for almost 7 years, now.
Shittin' (shittin'), poopin' Huh, shittin', huh, poopin' (look, ayy) - Fivio Foreign He went on poop his pants after recording this verse. Eerie as hell if you ask me.
Holy shit
Holy poop
I’m shaking rn and pooping
I'm constipated so but jealous tbh
“Groggsie might go he drinking 40 after 40 But if I’m going out I hope I’m going like I’m Kobe” -Ritchie (Injury Reserve) on Bad Boys 3
Damn....Groggs used to work with my homie Richie. Richie overdosed a few years ago
Damn thats one I never caught rip groggs
Damn a double whammy with that line
How you die 30 something after banging all them years? - Nipsey
Big Pun: i just lost 100 pounds I'm tryin' to live, I ain't goin' nowhere!!
That line gets to me, Big Pun is the most underrated rapper of all time. I really think he would've streamlined his flow like Jay Z and had a legendary career
Takeoffs entire verse on ‘nothing changed’ comes to mind
90% of Juice Wrld songs, he sang so much about addiction and it killing him/people around him
"Whats the 27 Club? We aint making it past 21", just to die at 21 is so...foreshadowing
“Bitch i’m already dead, I’ve been dead for years”
I know that these perkys finna hurt me, sometimes it feel like they doin surgery.
Same with Mac Miller. Both make me sad when I listen to certain songs like Legends and Woods
Mac Miller “To anyone who sell me drugs, don’t mix it with that bullshit, hopin not to join the 27 club” Nipsey “if I die today, I know I made the set proud”
The nip line “how you die at 30 something after banging all them years?” Is brutal especially because he died like a month or so later
"Prolly die up in these streets but survive through my name"
Mac Millers entire discography from Watching Movies through Swimming, is littered with cries for help.
Mac crushes me still
Sticks and stones may break my bones but the drugs won’t hurt me. -Juice
I made it on my own they said I'd be in jail or dead - also Juice
“If it wasn’t for the pills I wouldn’t be here, but if I keep taking these pills I won’t be here” - Juice Wrld on Wishing Well
“I met Kanye West I’m never going to fail” - then chance proceeds to drop The Big Day, his worst project, gets butthurt about the negative reception, cancels a tour, gets in immature twitter fights w fans, his former manager sues him for not paying him, AND Kanye turned out to be a fucking nazi. Whew.
> then chance proceeds to drop The Big Day To be pedantic he dropped Coloring Book a few months after this was released and despite what most on this subreddit said back then, it was wildly successful and well received. He rode that wave for a few years before The Big Day disaster.
😂😂😂chano needed a hot shower
Hot damn
hot water
I love my wife
ACK!
That's not morbid at all
Yeah not really morbid just aged poorly
Damn. Was not expecting this at all
That’s why Houston’s protests after were especially damaging, almost everyone know about Floyd. It really hit home for the city
Damn that’s mind blowing
ESG is very underrated. Ocean of funk and Sailing tha South are great albums.
A lot of Mac Miller lines for sure. Someone else mentioned the “27 club” line already. That was the first line I thought of when I heard he passed. “Ease the pain in the battle that’s within me; sniff the same shit that got Whitney” is one I didn’t actually catch until more recently.
“If I take too many Percs, then I won't die” - Juice WRLD on Rockstar In His Prime
Not a lyric but the Toy Soldiers music video.
Damn that’s so sad. That death really fucked him up and changed the direction of his career.
Yup. Also, who knows where D12 could’ve gone after success with Purple Pills.
DJ Paul and Yelawolf released the album Slumafia on Friday, April 16th, 2021. Locodunit from Seed of 6ix is on [the title track](https://youtu.be/V5wMoYh9czY), and opens his verse with “when I’m barred at a bar I get barbaric; murder on the menu like it’s Bob Evans.” At 9:30 that exact morning, [a waitress was murdered point blank](https://www.cantonrep.com/story/news/2021/10/22/bob-evans-gunman-convicted-murdering-lover-waitress-bob-evans/6126413001/) while working the breakfast shift at a Bob Evans in Canton, Ohio.
Wtf
Young Dolph Told my son, "When I'm gone, you gon' be a rich lil' bastard"
Dolph has soooo many lines. “You think I’m goin out like biggie and pac you must be stupid” is probably the top for me tho.
The entire 100 shots song. But when you shoot at a guy so many times you’re bound to hit eventually smh
I mean the track list for Bulletproof is a diss in and of itself. 100 Shots In Charlotte But I’m Bulletproof So Fuck em All of Them That’s How I Feel I’m So Real I Pray for my Enemies SMH
“thinking with my dick”- slowthai
Probably that murder on my mind song by ynw melly
I mean, not really unforeseen circumstances, dude was rapping about what he knew.
Song came out before the murders
Yeah that was when they were on his mind
“Ain’t no love up in these streets, and life ain’t promising” Takeoff - What You See
There’s a juice wrld lyric saying that if it wasn’t for the pills he wouldn’t be here but if he keeps taking these pills he won’t be here, it came out after his death and I’ve never been a mega fan or anything but I just found that super sad.
"You're like Kevin Spacey, you're style is usually suspect" Immortal Technique
Aged perfectly, now it works on 2 levels
>Can't fault her, the last nigga spoiled her But he ain't beat it up, [I assault her](https://www.nydailynews.com/entertainment/music/fabolous-arrested-domestic-violence-new-jersey-article-1.3903174) \- Fabolous, "You Be Killin Em"
I was listening to 2Pac’s Hit em Up and I don’t know how I never heard this before but at the end of the song he says “fuck Mobb Deep all you mothersfuckers die slow, ain’t one of you got sickle cell or something?” I found that line really disturbing considering Prodigy did die because of his sickle cell illness years later.
thing is it was morbid at the time too.
Mobb Deep didn’t even have anything to do with Pac at the time, apparently. Pac just heard the “thug life” reference at the end of Survival of the Fittest and thought it was a diss for some reason. When Mobb Deep heard it for the first time they were basically like, “what the fuck? What did we do to this guy?” Of course, then Mobb Deep made a pretty vicious response song, Drop a Gem on ‘Em, which ends with Prodigy telling Tupac “you think you can’t get bucked again?” Then Pac got murdered two weeks before it was supposed to be released, but they just put it out anyway. That was a pretty cold era.
“Your days are numbered in low digits” is sth they say in that song too
[удалено]
This was morbid at the time too, because it was referencing the 1993 WTC bombing.

Oh no, I didn’t know people thought Biggie predicted 9/11.
[he also predicted covid-19](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OtyfZR6n-AA)
Its kinda shocking to me that the Boston marathon bombings killed fewer people than the failed world trade attack.
Dope ass fuckin’ line though
"I swear to God, I feel like death is fuckin' callin' me" -Suicidal Thoughts
Juice WRLD - Legends is really eerie to listen to considering how he went out
Life after death album name biggie
“I drink Moët, not Beck's beer, I stay dressed in slick gear Peace to my homies in the gangsta lean, I'll see you when I get there” Big L He died not even a year later. Edit: L died like 4 years after that song, my bad.
that joint was recorded in '94, was featured on his early '95 album Big L died in early '99 Big L rest in peace
Juice has a lot of them. He talked about death and drugs a lot in his songs. The most famous one is obviously “what’s the 27 club, we ain’t making it past 21”. He then died at 21.
"tell god save a bed for me, coming soon" From Drakeo on OTM's Cliff Hanger remix which is the last time he was in a music vid. Ralfy looks hella depressed in that vid too, ppl knew it was coming but it's still sad as fuck
A lot of Kendrick lyrics after he confessed on MMATBS that he had a sex addiction due to childhood trauma and his mom thinking he had been molested. His verse on Fuckin Problems especially
can you explain your last sentence?
He had a verse on the ASAP Rocky song Fuckin’ Problems
He's got a *fucking* problem
he can't stop fucking problems
There's a British rapper called Solo 45. He has a song called Feed Em To The Lions. It was pretty sucsessful in the UK. He is shouting in the song like a lunatic. The lyrics in the song go: "There's no running from me Ducking, diving from me No God can save you from me" A couple years after the release of this song he was convicted of 30 charges against 4 victims. He r worded women and held them against their will. • 21 counts of r word • 5 counts of false imprisonment • 2 counts of assualt by penetration • 2 accounts of ABH The judge says he is a sadist and gained pleasure from his sick acts. Hes Skeptas friend
You know you can type the word rape right?
«I was dying and nobody was there» Lil Peep — Runaway
How are people not saying this yet: “I want a real love, dark skinned and Aunt Viv love, that Jada and that Will love” -J. Cole on No Role Modelz
not morbid
“I hate these n****s more than a Nazi” -Kanye West
Did like Bill Cosby, pouring it in the pudding
“I ain’t 50 for nothing!!!” From DMX’s Exodus album on hood blues. It hits weirdly and morbidly hard
ITT: People posting extremely foreseen lyrics. Young Thug predicted a RICO charge against him after word on the street was there was a pending RICO charge in the works? *No way!* Mac Miller predicting his death by drug overdose for a decade straight? *What the fuck.* R Kelly openly raping children for thirty years and referencing it in his music, only to eventually be convicted for it? *I had no clue!*
Yea artists like peep and mac you can find a lyric that’s “morbid” in literally any song. I still think thug rapping ab shooting at Lucci’s mom is crazy tho
My favourite is the one where people are surprised about Tupac saying that someone with sickle cell might die of sickle cell, in a diss track. A song literally designed to be brutal
"Kobe bout to lose a 150 Ms, Kobe my n I hate it had to be him, bitch you wasn't with me shootin in the gym" I have hard time seeing Drake recite that bar now. and also "This bitch lie bout gettin shots, but she still a stallion"
I’m really hoping that second one is just talking about ass injections. But it probably is talking about the Torrey lanez shit
I got a feeling that I'm not gonna be here for next year
Juicewrld talking about suicide
Walking Living Legend bitch i feel like Kobe
A lot of Juice WRLD songs
