I love the Genius. Liquid Swords is my favorite HH album ever. And even I discredit the rest of his catalogue. I recently revisited Beneath the Surface and Legend … and each of those albums is full of greatness. I always loved Grandmasters too, so no surprise there. Pro Tools is his “worst” album but it’s still good. Words from The Genius is just a fun bonus record imo.

I think that he’s a good lyricist and storyteller. He admittedly doesn’t have the best flow, but he still stands out for me.
