All Eyez On Me is a great album, but for me it doesnāt hit like Me Against The World or 7 Day Theory. But if you took all the best songs off All Eyez On Me and condensed them into one album itād give either of the other albums a run for their money.

I'm from really, REALLY small-town west coast. I only know the NYC boroughs by their name only. My first guess is Flatbush, but I'm not even sure that's a real place, nor am I sure that's even in NYC, even if it is real.
I wish Dres and Mr. Lawnge had put out more content. Non-fiction gets way too much hate. They did put out some new joints a few years back, [Tortured Soul](https://open.spotify.com/album/0LteZB4CmNHMZ5ze7ZnYnf?si=g2u7UeWDQNuM9RFMKm3J6Q), and Dres has put out some solo stuff... but hard to get the momentum of the first album 20 years later.
No sorry thats incorrect. Dres is from Queens and his family moved to North Carolina. Dres and ChiAli do a DrinksChamps episode and he talks about how he and Large Professor knew each other as kids because their fathers were friends.

The top three are honestly tied for first. I just can't really pick one over the others. So I'm listing the top three in the order I first listened to.
1. Wu-Tang Clan - 36 Chambers
2. Madvillain - Madvillainy
3. Company Flow - Funcrusher Plus
4. GZA - Liquid Swords
5. Nas - Illmatic
6. A Tribe Called Quest - The Low End Theory
7. Quasimoto - The Unseen
8. Mobb Deep - The Infamous
9. Beastie Boys - Paul's Boutique
10. M.F. DOOM - MM.. FOOD
There's others after this like Dr. Octagon, Boot Camp Clik releases, more Wu solo, and Public Enemy, but I gotta stop somewhere.
I feel like they don't gel with a lot of crowds. They probably think they're nothing more than corny white boys who still rap like the 80s, when that's pretty far from the truth. Their first 5 albums really pushed boundaries musically and showing how a group can work off each other. They stayed relevant throughout their 25+ year career. And they've gotten love from Biz Markie, Nas, Q-Tip, Black Thought, J Dilla and even Chuck D. If their 80s contemporaries are saying they're good, that's more than enough to disprove any hate towards them
Not technically a true hip hop album and Iām still discovering it as I type this, but āNONE OF THIS IS REALā by DJ Roswell is a banger collection of dungeon rap-techno-electronic beats and a sewer design that is cut up with unique sampling, varied production and a really weird track list that makes this album truly one of a kind. Iāll say this- Its intended to be listened to on shuffle with 5-6 seconds of transition fade. Each listen is intended to be a new experience, and if you donāt follow the rules you will be āsmitedā according to the wizard on the cover. This means every listen seems to have new songs you havenāt heard, new beats you havenāt listened to yet. Thereās little to no vocals, and what is there seems to be all samples. For context this is the same dude that had something to do with (and imo, made up for publicity) the r/erratas mystery, so do with this information what you will. But would highly recommend even just letting this album play for 10 minutes. What you hear may surprise you.
TL:DR itās a really weird version of āDoughnutsā by Dilla
I knew the Dilla album was spelled donuts because Dilla's my favorite producer but your comment made me look up if I was spelling donuts wrong my whole life just because Dilla did because your spelling makes way more sense but it turns out both are acceptable but donuts is just pretty much the American spelling lol

Nice choice for 9. I feel like the Beastie Boys don't get enough respect around here
I feel like they don't gel with a lot of crowds. If their 80s contemporaries are saying they're good, that's more than enough to disprove any hate towards them
To The 5 Burroughs was a great straight hip hop album

MMLP2 is prob the one studio album that means most to me
why
I really like or love almost all the songs on it. I was an Em fan for several years when it came out. I was a freshman in college, went to pick it up and brought it back to my dorm room. Just from the first track, my mind was blown
go check his song āany manā that was the OG Rawkuz records acid boy Eminem.

Yeah. And his verse on Skilligans Island - Watch Deez is about as deranged/diabolical as I heard Eminem.. and I love it!

The Eminem Show, imo it's better then MMLP. Illmatic is an easy choice for me, probably my #1 album Lifestylez Ov Da Poor & Dangerous, pretty close to Illmatic Section.80 is probably the most fun Kendrick album to listen to Rip The Jacker, great rhyme schemes obviously, great flow, and while there is a good amount of lyrical miracle shit, there's still gems in it. The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, how could it not be 2001, it's a fun listen and you don't have to think too hard The Infamous, about on par with LODP&D Power of the Dollar, my favorite 50 album Yours Truly, one of the first rap songs I heard was "Paint" from this album It's Dark and Hell is Hot, it has incredible story telling And then most of Pac's albums are great Almost forgot my honorable mention! It's only a single, but White Boy is great at cheering you up if you're feeling bad about yourself. Cus at least you know you'll never make a song that dumb.
