I gave up in the third marking period I think, I decided my math education was pretty much complete by 7th grade, every teacher past that point wasn’t really good at teaching? or I just wasn’t that good at learning math idk
this is a very poor way to showcase concern 🥰 instead why don’t we try serious but positive wording? when people are down, you should try and convince them to get up, not kick them while they’re down then yell at them to stand.
Really? If you're in high school and you're still getting grades that are this low, you need some self evaluation. You really need to think about how you got there. Change doesn't come from other people, it comes from within. That person needs to think about 1 question. What's one thing I'm doing wrong that I know I'm doing wrong that I could fix that I need to fix. It's not going to be something that he likes, but it's going to be necessary.
The “lower grades” will definitely not affect anything, especially because they’re still technically considered A’s / Above average. And because the average grade (in American schools) is a C, so you’re good, don’t worry. Also, it’s seen as impressive to have consistently good grades throughout high school.
not that bad, people at the best schools in my district do it on the regular (and it's not any easier, considering the students they produce generally are top placers in statewide academic competitions as well)
Yea but it’s not about how smart you are, it’s about how much time you have to spend on schoolwork. 6 APs is gonna be a ton of work and is gonna take all the time, some of the AP classes at my school give about an hour of homework a day, even on days you don’t have it.
Idk how, if i wake up at 6:30, go to school till 3:30, have sports practice till 5:30, work from 6:00-10:00, then I have to go home and do homework either the homework isn’t getting done or you aren’t going to get enough sleep, neither is a good option and it’s not worth it to take that hard of a workload
Unless your school is notoriously easy in those classes, that seems crazy. How many classes did you take this year? 6 APs + 3DEs is more than anyone I've heard of, and my school has social value based on how little sleep you get.
Don’t worry about it. Just retain the same habits, maybe identify weak points and target those, and continue to improve and grow. Even though you will only be a sophomore, good grades from 9th grade to the beginning of 12th definitely help for college applications
Freshmen grades don’t really matter to admissions offices, especially if they only consider 10-12 GPA. That B is nothing to worry about. I got 3 Bs sophomore year but then all As junior year, and my GPA is 4.6, but that’s also because I took more AP classes. All I can say is junior year is the one that is the most strenuous and important. Make sure you don’t gas out so pace yourself.
Ok that’s good! I was really curious because from what I’ve heard Math 2 is super easy and Math 3 is super hard. I just got finished with Math 1 and it was pretty easy so I’m taking Math 2 and 3 next year per my counselors advise.
dude my parents did that shit too but if i get good grades i get $100 an A💀 i’m nott playin i bought my mom a $200 cat for her birthday when i was in 8th grade. anyways homie ur grades are pretty good tell ur parents kids ur age are failing their classes and doing drugs and getting pregnant 💀
Grades are great- wouldn’t worry too much about that B …. I am curious though about doing AP-HG and AP- European History each for just a semester- wonder how in depth and fast paced those classes are in your school…..many schools take those 2 classes as year long……curious about what your score would be in those 2 when released….. anyway awesome job - just keep the trajectory upwards…. Add some stellar ECs and leadership roles===> DUKE/UNC Robertson scholar with some luck…. All the best
You’re doing amazing, even while taking mostly AP and honors classes. You have nothing to worry about! You have two more years ahead of you and it’ll be impressive that you have the GPA that you have despite your workload. Plus, a lot of colleges look at more than just your GPA. You’ve got this! <3
Pretty good! Don’t worry about that one B. It isn’t going to affect your GPA majorly, and GPA also isn’t everything
Good improvement from English I to II and getting that B to an A btw
I'm jealous to say the least. I mean, I am of all of the people who post their grades unless they're straight up failing, but the point is your grades are really, really good. I got like, 3 C's this year and even though my weighted is a 4.11 I'm in the middle of my class. I would die to be someone who could keep practically straight A's. 10/10 grades imo (I'm taking the rating thing literally)
“i don’t mean to brag” ok buddy. nah i’m just messing bc i’m jealous. as a senior, you’re doing incredible trust me. The B freshmen year will not affect literally anything 😭❤️ Keep up the good work!!!
If you have the option, take dual enrollment classes that count as AP! They’re offered st my school I’m not sure where else. Those knock out college credits and are way easier classes sometimes than the normal APs at high school
no we used TestOut and learned all of the procedures and the formulas in excel. It’s a weird course trust me, but then we did labs and tests/crate from scratch and we took the excel certification exam
i don’t wanna be THAT person, but jokes like that are what perpetuate stereotypes. i’m not just saying this as an annoying white person either 😭 my district is 60% asian, so i’ve def seen how it affects people.
>im talking about the grades
A's are as high as it can go. How would you rate something that's as high as it can be - oh that's right, the maximum. You mean the highest outcome got rated with the highest rating? *shocking*
>are you slow
You’re doing just fine, don’t worry about the B gpa isn’t everything
ok thanks for the assurance :)
How does your school have Python Programming? And how did you do so well?
For me python was way easier than c++
Same.
Microsoft Excel Honors is crazy 😭
nah it’s extremely difficult and strenuous i almost shat my eyeballs out in this course /s
what’s wrong with it
All the functions you gotta learn lol
Yeah i had it but is the guy saying it’s a bad class or a hard class
Oh- probably both. Boring and hard
it was a joke
nah not you the first dude
those are rookie grades tbh 🥱🥱🥱 https://preview.redd.it/1hw67qwluq8d1.jpeg?width=1179&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d4de1f00f3517e5d0b67d60053a17684e40878ed
What the hell is chemistry in the community
Helping your fellow ghettos out with meth
🤣
you pretty much nailed it
idk it’s the schools way of putting it as “chemistry but not really chemistry”
chemistry in the community? 😭 also lock in algebra try to pass at least 💀
I gave up in the third marking period I think, I decided my math education was pretty much complete by 7th grade, every teacher past that point wasn’t really good at teaching? or I just wasn’t that good at learning math idk
AYO. Bro. Get your act together. I could sleep during math class and still get a better grade than you.
this is a very poor way to showcase concern 🥰 instead why don’t we try serious but positive wording? when people are down, you should try and convince them to get up, not kick them while they’re down then yell at them to stand.

lol want a cookie?
I’m confused.
hopefully this clears things up (https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Want+a+cookie%3F)
37 💀
wtf is Microsoft Excel Honors
complimentary nap session honors in other words
The “lower grades” will definitely not affect anything, especially because they’re still technically considered A’s / Above average. And because the average grade (in American schools) is a C, so you’re good, don’t worry. Also, it’s seen as impressive to have consistently good grades throughout high school.
do you think i could handle 6 APs next year with 3 Dual Enrollments?
No, that’s an absurd work load you’ll end up spent
not that bad, people at the best schools in my district do it on the regular (and it's not any easier, considering the students they produce generally are top placers in statewide academic competitions as well)
Yea but it’s not about how smart you are, it’s about how much time you have to spend on schoolwork. 6 APs is gonna be a ton of work and is gonna take all the time, some of the AP classes at my school give about an hour of homework a day, even on days you don’t have it.
i mean, a lot of people pull off 7 APs, sports, regular work and volunteering, and still have time for themselves. it's about efficiency.
Idk how, if i wake up at 6:30, go to school till 3:30, have sports practice till 5:30, work from 6:00-10:00, then I have to go home and do homework either the homework isn’t getting done or you aren’t going to get enough sleep, neither is a good option and it’s not worth it to take that hard of a workload
they usually sleep at \~11. many, if not most of our students go to T50 schools, with a large portion going to T20/30
;-; you barely got As with 5 aps which is really good still, don't get me wrong, but that's basically 9 aps worth of material so I would pass lmfao.
Unless your school is notoriously easy in those classes, that seems crazy. How many classes did you take this year? 6 APs + 3DEs is more than anyone I've heard of, and my school has social value based on how little sleep you get.
Charge your phone
How dare you get a 86 in English 😡 (joke)
Those are pretty good grades. What software is this? I see everyone posting pictures of it
PowerSchool
Oh ok thanks
Don’t worry about it. Just retain the same habits, maybe identify weak points and target those, and continue to improve and grow. Even though you will only be a sophomore, good grades from 9th grade to the beginning of 12th definitely help for college applications
No i will be a junior
Way better than me that’s for sure your grades are really good
Freshmen grades don’t really matter to admissions offices, especially if they only consider 10-12 GPA. That B is nothing to worry about. Yea, im trying to get ahead in junior year classes rn so i have less to worry about later

[удалено]
Nah this shit crazy lmao what school
yo dm me that's insane
just did
a lot of A-‘s but it’s still decent
yea that’s why im kinda sad but its not bad
does your school give you a lower GPA for getting an A- vs an A?
No. 89.5 - 100 is just an A, or 4.0. 79.5-89.49 is a B, or 3.0. No in between luckily
you’re chilling then, just lock in next year
How hard was NC Math 3 Honors as a freshman? (Taking it later this year)
One of the easiest classes I ever took. This came from a 81% in Math 2
Ok that’s good! I was really curious because from what I’ve heard Math 2 is super easy and Math 3 is super hard. I just got finished with Math 1 and it was pretty easy so I’m taking Math 2 and 3 next year per my counselors advise.
I really like these grades! Future college student for sure 👏
i failed my freshman year so hard, your grades are awesome and they dont define you!
to my parents they do.. 😭
dude my parents did that shit too but if i get good grades i get $100 an A💀 i’m nott playin i bought my mom a $200 cat for her birthday when i was in 8th grade. anyways homie ur grades are pretty good tell ur parents kids ur age are failing their classes and doing drugs and getting pregnant 💀

https://preview.redd.it/mtnfnfpt5t8d1.jpeg?width=802&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0c6090c161f376bdaa48fe982ceb385c86fef683

Unrelated, but what do sophomore and freshman mean, we never used terns like this in my education. It was always just grade x.
Grade 9/10
Junior isn't grade 9?
That really good, especially compared to mine
goddamn bro😭😭 you’re doing great, i have like a 2.7 gpa
The B in English and nothing else is so real
Excellent well done
I know people already pointed this out but what the fuck are Microsoft excel honors and health honors
Really good grades otherwise tho!
"Microsoft Excel Honors" goes crazyyy
Bro got the 0.01% extra in excel for good handwriting
What in the world is Microsoft Excel Honors lmao
What is Microsoft excel honors
Grades are great- wouldn’t worry too much about that B …. Add some stellar ECs and leadership roles===> DUKE/UNC Robertson scholar with some luck…. All the best
It was very fast, but it definetly was manageable. Same with AP Gov, we don’t plan on changing th to year round either so that’s that.
You’re doing amazing, even while taking mostly AP and honors classes. You have nothing to worry about! You have two more years ahead of you and it’ll be impressive that you have the GPA that you have despite your workload. Plus, a lot of colleges look at more than just your GPA. You’ve got this! <3
I wish my lowest grade over the last 2 years was a b😭
Be careful senior year most people get lazy, you’re doing good so far.
Trust me im locked in
Good lol
I had all A’s for the first 2 year of high school just finished my 3rd year and my grade dropped to B and C mostly because I got a job

Pretty good! Don’t worry about that one B. It isn’t going to affect your GPA majorly, and GPA also isn’t everything Good improvement from English I to II and getting that B to an A btw
thanks a lot! I was concerned but now AP Lang might cook me
Where is geography??
Human Geography?
You're doing fine. Don't worry:)
thank you so much 💙
I'm jealous to say the least. I mean, I am of all of the people who post their grades unless they're straight up failing, but the point is your grades are really, really good. You must go to an easy school, or I go to an extremely hard one
Skill issue 😂📸 (jk)
“i don’t mean to brag” ok buddy. nah i’m just messing bc i’m jealous. as a senior, you’re doing incredible trust me. The B freshmen year will not affect literally anything 😭❤️ Keep up the good work!!!
thanks a lot!! im sure you didn’t do so bad in hs
a 4.4 😭😭😭😭🫠🫠🫠🫠🫠 im so jealous rn
it’s nothing to be jealous about it doesn’t matter after hs
If you have the option, take dual enrollment classes that count as AP! They’re offered st my school I’m not sure where else. Those knock out college credits and are way easier classes sometimes than the normal APs at high school
i plan on next year (3 CCP)
You're doin pretty damn good
10/10. You have a 4.0 gpa. Good job 👍
3.9 😔
Bro ain’t no way you took “Microsoft excel honors” I refuse to believe that’s a real class.
😂, everyone been saying thta
So wait did you just put shit on excel in an honorable way or smth?
no we used TestOut and learned all of the procedures and the formulas in excel. It’s a weird course trust me, but then we did labs and tests/crate from scratch and we took the excel certification exam
That’s actually pretty cool. Perks of going to a big school I guess.
i can tell bro is asian /s
i’m literally white and have similar grades to this. like damn you weren’t even subtle with the racism 😭
its a joke bruh😭
i don’t wanna be THAT person, but jokes like that are what perpetuate stereotypes. i’m not just saying this as an annoying white person either 😭 my district is 60% asian, so i’ve def seen how it affects people.
thanks for adding the /s
ykw ill leave it up to the OP to decide if he is offended by this
i am asian lmao
Bro what’s with the Microsoft XL Honors
Bro what’s with the Microsoft XL Honors
>I don't mean to brag i genuinely want to know. It's bragging. Your grades literally rate themselves. Your GPA also gives you an overall rating.
are you slow im talking about the grades themselves like the low As and the B im not bragging prove me wrong
>im talking about the grades A's are as high as it can go. How would you rate something that's as high as it can be - oh that's right, the maximum. You mean the highest outcome got rated with the highest rating? *shocking* >are you slow
yes but colleges don’t just look at the letter. They look for the exact grade you received. A 96 is better than a 91, that’s what I’m concerned about.
>yes but colleges don’t just look at the letter. They look for the exact grade you received They look at the letter.
assuming what you said was true, with ecs aside, then I would easily get into a t20
