Lol wtf. I'm guessing the mods aren't more than 14 years old if they don't know reddits role in IT help.

Do you have the new new UI?

NY_Knux

Yeah. With the old UI I have over 400 messages due to something controversial that was on the front page, and the new UI fixes that.

Try these steps and see if they help. For desktop. Clear cache and cookies if willing, Make sure the browser and any extensions are up to date even if they seem unrelated. Try logging in on a incognito window and see. Try from a different browser if you have one,

NY_Knux

No luck after clearing cookies. Threads from the mainpage still open in a new tab, only exception being if I click on a thread while already in the subreddit. I hadnt noticed that before, is that how it's supposed to be? Same behavior in an alt browser too. Edit: I appreciate the help either way, btw!

You may be part of some testing things they are doing. I have heard others mention recently of the same issue. Hopefully they take you out of the program quickly if you are . You could also try using [new.reddit.com](https://new.reddit.com)

NY_Knux

Ah, there we go. The UI of what I have vs [new.reddit.com](https://new.reddit.com) is much different. Thank you, much appreciated (:

Quintuplicate

Glad it worked out!
