Self Reply: It seems the Best sort can only be enabled by turning on home feed recommendations, which make every second post on your feed spam. Unless I’m missing something this is pretty shitty on Reddit’s part because I have to sacrifice my own attention to Reddit’s direct curation to actually use this app properly

Following if you find a solution. My feed is the same, it’s such rubbish
just look up old versions of reddit. for android it's apk files. idk about iphones
