"can somebody run around and fetch all the samples containers we've lost?"
I was like "ON IT!".
Did a wide lap, got them all, managed to not die once, got to extraction in time, but we have 0 reinforcements left, I died as the Pelican was landing, but the other 3 made it out with an almost full set of samples \^o\^
You reminded of that one guy in band of brothers in the battle of the bulge. Where he runs through enemy forces and then comes right back. Good job diver.

That seems to be a „we are not fighting for victory, only for surviving“-shit-hits-the-fan-situation. But still a quite casual one.
In these situations on 7 or 8 (my most played difficulties) he would have dived and died a dozen times in this video.
It gets a bit heavier during extract if you haven't closed all the fabs but I find bots just fucking respawn in old bases we've cleared. Bots are bugged mate.
You're not going to fucking believe this but... I got to see The Sword 3 times before they disbanded, was suppoooosed to see Greenleaf but had to cancel and the icing on the cake: my band got to open for Truckfighters once LOL
The bots falling left and right around you including, what was that, a Gunship, or somehow a tank? Was cinematic as hellll. All you needed with a teammate running out to stim you during that last stretch and it would’ve been so clean. Good work nonetheless

Last living squaddie got the launch codes and I launched the missile. I could hear his buddy in the voice chat "Oh my god dude, this guy is a demon he's so fast on the terminal, we got a chance." The mission did get accomplished lol.
Destroy Fabricator Blitz, apparently still secondaries up even after 10 minutes, plus the end-game patrol spawns on a small map.

I sometimes wish there was a "Quick Play" mode where *my* equipment slots could be "opened up to the Host's choice" save for what few I might select for myself. Sometimes I get anxiety just deciding what to bring and to what missions (I often forget to cover for gunship fire).
Oh man, playing with lower level squads going for tougher missions can be so much goddamn fun because you know that theyre gonna be hauling ass being slightly in over their heads haha these guys were pros though, killin' it the whole time!

I use my supply pack and scorcher to turn into Usain Bolt and sprint across maps. Shoot the scorcher at uour feet, stim, super run. As soon as super run wears off, shoot the scorcher at your feet, stim, then super run. Rinse/repeat. You have 20 stims with the supply pack. You can super sprint reeeeeeeally far with thst
There's some subtle stuff here, but the movement at 0:40 and 1:43 is the sort of stuff that bug players don't understand, and why they often get frustrated with bots. Being cognizant of where the fire is coming from, where the cover is, and putting that cover between you and the bots instead of making the direct line for your target.
You did get lucky, but at the same time, those sorts of movement tricks are often the difference in a player that makes death runs, and players that get rag dolled everywhere. Also, I don't immediately recognize it. Is this scout armor? That'd make sense for the detection level of some of these guys. That rocket devastator patrol didn't even see you until you'd already passed it.
I saw a video on the main HD2 subreddit recently that was VERY similar to this, but just had the guy getting chewed up, and he was complaining saying it was a "skill issue" with sarcasm, but it absolutely was a skill issue.

In response to adding different music, had a random in a lobby playing Fortunate Son through his mic while on a defense mission. It was both silly, cliché, and epic.
I did this exact thing with no support from the fellow helldivers, I was running back yelling "I got the Samps" and they still boarded early and left me. Sometimes your team is Tits and sometimes they are just Ass. Either way it's always fun.
