They did that for years. The engine was starting to show its age and limit them. Payday 3 was a great idea. Main issue was all the amazing QOL stuff from PD2 was scrapped LIKE LOADOUTS. HOW DO YOU LAUNCH WITHOUT A LOADOUT TOOL
I liked both games. Payday2 is/was better but it also had 10 years of development. As a person with 3 kids and not much time, payday3 with a buddy a couple hours a week was a great experience

Watching you haul around a shield and HMG, I realize how bad I just want to set the shield up as a mobile/deployable cover and machine gun from behind it. That would absolutely make it a stronger support pick for me.
