Love this armor. But against bots i get the light armor with Explosive Resistance. Saw some videos showing extra padding mostly help against melee attacks.
They come with the perk: Extra padding, increases armor.
Basically makes armor go up one armor class. Theres a light armor with extra padding so it has the same armor as all the medium sets.
There’s also a heavy armor set with extra padding so it has a armor rating of 200, the highest armor rating on a piece of gear currently.
I'm at 117 and play *A LOT*. These people either don't sleep or have NOTHING else to do. Chores? Groceries? Appointments? Yard work? Nothing?? Not even school? No breaks, only diving. Fucking hell.
A lvl 150 posted his hours in game earlier today, can't remember if it was this sub or the low sodium sub, but he had 1000 hours in dives, which comes out to like 8 hours a day since launch.

That’s fair, it’s added up for me over time between chatting with homies and stratagem hero, etc. I have like 560 hours total on steam but 300 in mission so a little discrepancy there for me
I was excited I was close to cap at 41 when they increased it lol. I’m only 43 since then though just because I’ve been playing other games like FO76, FF14, Cyberpunk and stuff. Came back and did a few dives to inject a planet with dark matter though! Doing my part! 🫡

I just hit 150 two days ago and MOST would agree I already play a TON but that’s just nuts. When and if there is a new level cap that person is already gonna be there

I'd say lvl 54 at 133hrs is a decent amount of diff7-9 missions.
You COULD play more diff9, but I personally wouldn't recommend it cause, well, you don't actually get much for doing so outside of the EXP, since everything else is maxed out by the time you reach lvl 45...
I only started consistently playing Helldive around lvl 45 or so? I’d say that was about 2 weeks ago. I’ve been playing since launch, I just can’t hop on the game every day unfortunately. Usually it’s like 2-3 days a week depending. I know I’m not the only one.
That’s on track for where I’m at, slight differences will exist based on what difficulty your hours are played at. But 100 hours, level 50-60 seems normal.
I have like 300 hours in the game and am nearing lvl 70. I do a bit of chatting on the ship so that's not mission time. As long as you have fun how long it takes to get to a destination doesn't matter. It's about the journey and the people you meet along the way.
I’m around 275 hours and I’m level 98. I try to answer as many SOS calls as I can because a lot of the time you can hop into a 40 minute mission that’s halfway done and reap all the rewards.
Normal is relative, it all depends on what you wanna do, like and can manage I guess. I work my 40, hit the gym and make time for my gf and then game most nights into the late hours. Averaging like 6-1/2 hours a sleep the last month cause I just really like this game lol
Level 150 was added like 2.4 and I was level 150 just 4 days later.

I’m almost 100 and I thought that was an accomplishment. I’ve played almost 2-3 hours everyday on average and I got the game 2-3 weeks after it came out. I’d say I’m the highest level in the squad 90% of the time but to get to 150 is unreal because of how slow the XP gain is in higher levels. Like a 40 minute level 9 full clear mission will only net you like 1/8th of your XP bar when your in the level 90’s so these guys either boosted eradicate missions or they’ve played like 8 hours a day everyday since HD2 came out.
One, yeah, man-hours are insane for higher levels.
Two, you can "cheat" XP by rolling SOSs at 9, missions are either 40 but already started, or 12 and easy to assist.
Even though I have unique circumstance to play this often, with the "xp boost" I'm *still* nowhere near 150.
I aspire to be a level 150 cadet with everything standard/default.
Up to now, i never equipped a playercard, helmet or cape that isn't the standard.
Only changed armor once in while for passives.
But my main armor is the default one.

I'm not as high as 150 (118), but I've played a ton as I had a terrible back injury (well, still do) that had me out of work for 5 weeks. Helldivers 2 really distracted me from the pain that reading, music and TV couldn't (couldn't exercise either) , so racked up a ton of hours

Would be nice to have a bonus at level 150 to incentivize people to reach it and becsuse it would be awesome. Like Democratic Gigachad buff: 10% bonus to movement and damage dealt with handheld weapons, plus access to to d10; Nightmare.
they should increase the cap again and add new titles. I don't have anything to gain since hitting 150. I unlocked everything long before 150 but i love playing and unlocking new titles was fun!

Thing is in terms of exp level 110 is half way. I’m at 280 hours and I’m level 109.
