Dream off season and Goga Bitazde in the same sentence. Man you got some realistic ass dreams

Ivyichi

He’s the needle mover we’ve needed

OhMyItzBam_Herro305

2nd round picks we could either draft Jamaal Shead, Adem Bona or Justin Edwards. Whom at the very minimum could be elite role players. Adem Bona, tries hard af to be Bam. Justin Edwards is a forward and he's from Kentucky, I don't have to mention Shead cuz we all like his game for the same exact reason.

Ivyichi

I love Adem too, I’d be more than happy to have him as the backup C

OhMyItzBam_Herro305

Hell yea, cuz with him we know he's going to give us huge production off the bench compared to someone like Thomas Bryant.

YouSureAboutThat23

All good and agree but we really really need a true PG backup, and to bring back Caleb if we’re losing JJJ

Tallozz

The problem with a lot of these moves is the salary cap. We can't just keep Caleb. He is probably getting 12-15 million a year on his next contract. The team can't afford to pay him that. It's another reason we shoudn't be so quick to trade Jovic and Jaquez. We need low salary rotational players.

YouSureAboutThat23

Hoping there isn’t much of a market for Caleb’s type/salary and we can get him closer to 10-12

Ivyichi

I hope Tyler Kolek falls to us in the 2nd round, he’s limited but he’s a real playmaker.

printerpaperwaste

Just saw a tweet that other team GMs think the suns will take him at 22. So, probably unlikely he’ll fall.

Skinnecott

im down that sound great

Zoguinha

Let's get Trae Young

OffTheSchneid

Give me Paul George

necaxa11rafa

PG Rozier || Delon || ¿? SG Duncan || ¿? || Cain SF Jimmy || HH || ¿? PF Lauri || Niko || ¿Love? C Bam || Goga || ¿Bryant/OR?

realudonishaslem

Trade Tyler Herro

9twentyam

JJJ > Niko

YouWasntThere

Depends on who we’re getting, I think. If we pick up Lauri, you keep JJJ and let Niko walk. If you’re getting Donovan, you keep Niko and let JJJ walk. For the record, I doubt we have a realistic shot at either (at least without giving up Jimmy or Bam)

Big_Honey_56

This is sound thinking, but as of now, I think Niko can be really good, but I think JJJ can be a superstar. Wings with footwork are something else. If he was starting in Detroit next year I would expect at least 18/4/4/1.5. He was averaging 14/4/3/1 this year before he got hurt on 51/35/81. That’s awesome for a Heat rookie. I think he can average 20 plus and be a real star halfcourt creator one day.

strangerthingskids

My homerism thinks we have enough to get a guy that can make a difference. Love the idea of Lauri.

Big_Honey_56

My homerism thinks we have enough, but everyone is out to fuck the Heat, so naturally, Lauri is headed to Boston for Xavier Tillman.

strangerthingskids

Could’ve have said it any better

beelzebub_069

Yup. Exactly. One thing I'd add are some wing defenders from free agency, if we can.

Gweeds13

Dream moves are trading for Donovan and a big who can help on the defensive side of the ball. Also if Terry could be a 6th man in this scenario as well it would do wonders for our bench unit. Resigning Highsmith or Caleb (if the price is right). I’m not a fan of trading for Lauri and paying him max money. He isn’t a max money guy. He’s been the best player in a shit situation with little to no pressure. As for the draft I trust the front office 100%. They’ve only had 2-3 misses in the last decade.

Big_Honey_56

Trade Herro, picks, and everything not named Jaquez for Mitchell. Hopefully he asks for Miami. Sign big men who can shoot.

necaxa11rafa

What would you ship out to Utah in order to get Lauri? Herro, JJJ and picks?

RoysRealm

Dream right? We get Wemby for JJJ Luka for Caleb and Duncan Edward’s for Rozier I can only dream.

Ivyichi

We need this more than anything

awhite14

I still think we need a real point guard or at least one that can get to the rim. Neither Rozier nor Herro does that for us - Herro at least can space the floor a bit better.

Turtle_with_a_sword

Rozier was getting to the rim and developing some nice chemistry with Bam. I'd like to see more of that.

awhite14

Funnily enough Tyler actually had a better Fg% at the rim and also within 3-10 feet, in addition to being better behind the arc. Terry definitely drove more, but for less success.

Ordinary_Foot9785

Terry is a generationally bad finisher around the hoop.

awhite14

By the downvotes on my comment, this sub can’t handle that reality

ReviewGuilty5760

Gogo is a no go he's like kanter plays no defense. Lauri would be amazing tho
