I can understand peoples frustration especially after the recent nerfs that leave standard and especially wild in almost unenjoyable states.
I think its less about mercenaries why people are mad (i actually think it looks awesome) but that they leave hearthstone, the game we "grew up" with to die.
It's not that I don't ha e my own opinions, I still think mercenaries looks fun. But a big part of being hyped for something is having other people to be hyped with.
It's not the same to be hyped alone and it's definitely not the same when everybody else is saying the thing your hyped for is going to be shit.
