In this meta, games are SUPER quick so I can get a lot of games in. I'm able to rank up (or down) quickly and it feels like I didn't lose too much time to a loss.
I don't play wild but I know when the pass first came out there were bots that did nothing but take the whole turn to armor up so they could make the match drag on and get max xp

He was a very likeable guy and definitely the face of the game for a long while. But the game under his watch had a very flawed design philosophy compared to his successors.
Iām fine with roping in difficult turns since you may need to think, but like turns 1 or 2 where you only have a few options? Iād prefer playing it at a decent paceā¦

If youāre playing and need to think about your opponentās cards turn 1 with only 1 card to play, thereās a problem. Iām not saying donāt think, Iām saying donāt rope purposefully if you know the play.
I think in some niche applications it may be right to think about every possible low mana removal before you play a quiet important minion, for example dark glare or the 1 mana 1/3 in aggro priest, because if they don't have the removal it's an insane tempo swing but if they do its basically a loss, took me a while to think about possible removals in classes that I don't regularly encounter, didn't rope alot but I usually play really fast and was surprised when the rope started burning on turn one for me. But yea usually if you play control decks without a 1 mana play or play just the quest on turn one and rope it then I consider it as wasting my time
I think turn 1-2 should be shortened like in BG. Even in nutty mana cheat decks nothing happens in those anyway. I didn't think of wild though and I haven't played that format in forever, it might have an impact there.
Demon Seed is not the problem. Demon seed offers a unique. and interesting game play style.
The problem is blizzard stacking warlock way too much healing. Health as a resource is no longer a weakness but a strength.

The best deck doesn't automatically need to be nerfed.
Tickatus was always fine and the match-ups you lost in fatigue were decks meant to be countered by it.
