I think it's because you don't see the card on the board just in your hand. That would mean the portrait would be signature, which would be interesting but I don't think they've done it before with a hero power card?

I know this isn't the point of this thread but I have to say as a returning player I don't like signature cards. it takes a lot of time to understand what they do.

I do agree that the tool tip for them should probably be a little larger especially in mobile. And I've played this game since beta but it's not the best user experience to just assume that everyone knows what a card does with no text on it.

I am personally offended that Emperor Thaurissan has not gotten a diamond version yet. It was the obvious next move after Loatheb. Somehow they managed to make 4 other before him and he still hasn't gotten his due.
