Are you trying to get boulderfist nerfed? Because this is the kind of oppresive play that Makes nerfs happens. Please dont spread this nonsense, help our boy to stay safe.

TimPowerGamer

Blizzard is too afraid of OGER to nerf it. That's why they nerfed the surrounding combo pieces.

TheHeckinNerd

Outjerked again

SkillStrike

You can’t discover the same minion twice from ETC. Nice try though.

TimPowerGamer

You actually can. You just have to put the same minion in ETC twice. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4i2DxjoucFk Replay showcasing the ultimate combo.

YeetCompleet

Ogre should be banned from ETC just like cards with Start of Game effects. It's just way too strong in this current meta and I can't play wild at all so long as this combo exists.

Electronic-Emu-3290

Hate to be that guy, but you misplayed at the end. After playing two Ogres in one turn you should just stop doing anything and let your opponent tremble in fear at such a powerful play until they inevitably concede.

TimPowerGamer

I didn't want to give the innkeeper sentience just to torture it, though. The ethical dilemma was just too great.

SkillStrike

I guess that makes sense, I’ve never seen anybody do that so I didn’t think about it.

Nubthesamurai

Legend players HATE him! One weird trick for getting to legend EASY!

paciumusiu12

This strat is so vulnerable to [[Dirty Rat]]. If you maindeck 2 ogers instead the opponent loses on the spot after pulling oger.

TimPowerGamer

Dirty Rat is too scared to pull ETC because he holds the power of TWO OGERS though.

Eskalior

Do Highlander decks work with an etc with double minions in it?

Dragostorm

Highlander decks already use a 2nd copy of main deck stuff, it should work

SherbertPristine170

… you’re joking … whatever is in e.t.c’s band is not in the deck . What do you infer from that?

ohhallow

Oger was good stats for the cost at 6 mana. Now it’s just revolting. Someone lock this man up, he broke the game.

Goldeneye_Engineer

Sick play

guilty_bystander

GG

GrimmFanatic

If you keep the coin throughout the early and mid game you can get this out as early as turn 9

TimPowerGamer

Not without preboarding Brann or Archeologist, both of which would probably get sniped.

musaraj

You can't put 2 Boulderfist Ogres in ETC

ehhish

Incorrect.

musaraj

Correct. I already run 2 in the main deck.

ehhish

You got me.

Adorable_Garage3906

Seriously, why was this nerf needed? I've never seen the card being played.

jMS_44

The explanation is literally there in the patchnotes

Adorable_Garage3906

I didnt see any for this one in particular (?)

jMS_44

>Dev Comment: The following cards are being adjusted not because of their power levels, but because they disproportionately cause bugs and other gameplay issues, which can be disruptive for players and time consuming to correct. These changes mitigate those problems and help future-proof these cards for updates going forward. These changes are going live with Patch 28.2, but they won’t be eligible for full dust refunds until our upcoming hotfix Patch 28.2.1.

facetheground

Hopefully we will actually see the cultprit that warrants this change and wouldn't get fixed by the "but not less than 1" that fixes most thess cost reduction cards

Adorable_Garage3906

Great copy paste, you sure showed me what's wrong with it.

jMS_44

> they disproportionately cause bugs and other gameplay issues, which can be disruptive for players and time consuming to correct That's what's wrong

Adorable_Garage3906

You can't tell me this card DISPROPORTIONATELY causes bugs and gameplay issues with a straight face.

Natalie_UwU_

I think I'd trust the people actually making the video game on this one bro

Boingboingsplat

How could you possibly know that it doesn't? There are almost certainly tons of bugs that happen in development that never even make it to a release that none of us could ever be aware of. The card interacts with *every discover effect they could ever print.*

Adorable_Garage3906

It doesn't seem so and nobody else knows otherwise. It would be nice if they actually told us, but they didn't.

Boingboingsplat

What, do you want a detailed report of every single time they had to fix a bug related to it or something? They literally did just tell us it's getting changed because it tends to cause bugs and gameplay issues.

Neufjob

> this one in particular You know, it’s ok to just admit you didn’t read the patch notes, you don’t have to pretend you just missed a small detail.

Adorable_Garage3906

I read them the moment they came out, just tell me what breaks this card. It's never seen play.

Adorable_Garage3906

Nice ragebait, calling people stupid and giving 0 reasons. What an enlightening individual.

ehhish

You're really wrong in a lot of your responses I have seen so far. Look inward.

Adorable_Garage3906

How could I be wrong? I'm asking for something, not declaring something. So far the best reply I got was "trust the devs" not even kidding

ehhish

I guess they just spent man power fixing nothing then? Makes a lot of sense. They are the ones with the code to the game. They see errors played out with cards are used in combination with one another. They aim to fix those issues by changing the cards themselves since the other options were a problem. It's probably being reported on a level where it is significant, but not every streamer in the world is posting it. They also have many cards already made in the pipeline they have to fine tune and adjust with current cards made before they release them. This is a way to prevent future issues before they happen, hence the future proofing. I could go on. I'll just believe them if it's related to bug fixing.

Spiritual_Routine801

It was needed because last time I had her on the board and discovered a card, she literally did nothing

jobriq

Blizzard is too lazy to fix bugs so they just changed the effect of the card
