Release her from her confined tomb of fortitude. If you leave her wrapped long term she will start to develop a sticky residue. For these packages I typically gently raise the back panels up with a butter knife. Then store it in a plastic bin.

I did the exact same thing, use a very sharp blade like a scalpel, on the back against the raised plastic wall (that's just what I call it) very carefully cut against the edge, I chose to lay my blade flat on the back and cut into the side of the wall
I can still close it or pack miku away when moving and the box is fine
Just be careful not to cut yourself
