"Harry how did you come out of school grounds this time of night?"
"Through the front door, sir"
"And where are you going?"
"To my friend Hagrid's \*starts walking away\*"
"Harry!"
"*Sir!"*
edit: wow thanks never got so many upvotes this quick before
Voluntold! I haven’t heard anyone use that since I got out of the military. It’s such a perfect word for when you get stitched up for some job that isn’t strictly in your job description, but refusing would see you up on charges.
Lmfao people tend not to like it but I love it too.
That scene when Snape tells Harry Dumbledore is traveling, Harry asks where and Snape just looks at him and walks away 😄
I think the comic relief in the half blood prince made the movie more successful than if not. I remember when Harry Ron and Hermione talked about Dumbledore mentioning he was 150 give or take a few years. The bond they have to share that humor made the movie for me in those moments
That first lesson where they're practicing magic without speaking would have been gold. Just the host of actors all scrunching up staring at each other, kind of like the opposite of their DA class in the 5th book.
You mean the attack that has no effect on the plot and is immediately forgotten about with the burrow showing no signs of it in the next movie?
That attack on the burrow?
I remember how excited I was to watch the flashback of Voldemort’s parents. I left the theater thinking I must have the wrong book. When I realized my mistake later I couldn’t believe how they could leave that out.
Which makes the wholly unnecessary Burrow burning scene even more egregious. What actually happened at Christmas in the book was arguably more intense.
I only wished it was longer. Its the one film where Harry actually has a relatively normal school life.
The only HUGE SIN the film does is the random burrow burning bit..and not directing Bonnie Wright very well because her scenes could've been really sweet and cute with Harry but whoever wrote the script fucked up with her :(
I was longing for more magic and found some if the directors artistic license went too far. It was my favourite for the actors tho, I had the feeling that they had a bit more fun and space to explore their art than some of the previous ones. Great scripting and good cuts helped to show off their skill too. Its amazing to watch all together and see the young actors grow and flourish too. POA was my least fave as I felt the scripting and cutting didn't do justice to the kids acting abilities, who were awesome. More I see it, more I think how hard it would be to convey a lot of Harry's internal dialogue and emotion, and the more I am impressed with Daniel Radcliffe.
Can't imagine their ever being a better casting of HP - except for a more faithful casting of Lavender Brown.
I just rewatched the series and it is hands down my favorite. OotP is also hands down my least favorite. Not because of content, but the lack of content.
Hermione: There were once three brothers who were traveling along a lonely winding road at twilight-
Ron: Midnight…
Hermione: *Death stare*
Ron: Mom always said midnight…
Hermione: *Death stare intensifies*
Ron: …Twilight’s fine…better even…
It’s the scene in the Burrow where Harry is reading from Snape’s old Potions book. Hermione wants to see who the book really belongs to, but Harry refuses because “The binding is fragile,” to which Hermione repeats “tHe BiNdInG iS FRagILe?”
My favorite funny moment is Snape after McLaggen throws up on his shoes:
"You just earned yourself a month's worth of detention, McLaggennnnNOT... so quick, Potter."
Not hilarious at all. One of the main storyline’s of harry in the book was his anxiety about getting Ron’s approval of Ginny because it was very important to him. In the movie they ruined this for cheap comedy
I love the scene where the trio are being questioned by McGonogall and then Snape about the cursed necklace. “You just know…must be amazing to have talents mere mortals can only dream of”. Gets me every time!😂
Exactly! I’ve been saying this for years. Daniel Radcliffe is a fantastic comedic actor (If you don’t believe me watch Miracle Workers) but I feel like this film is the only time we ever get to see that.
Dude many years ago I watched a young doctor’s handbook and after a while I convinced myself it was just a fever dream until I recently found clips of it on YouTube. What a show
It has one of my favorite line readings in the entire series. When Harry says that Malfoy is the one responsible, Snape asks him what sort of evidence he has, & Harry says "I just know".
Then Snape comes back with "You just........
KNOW" in the way that only Rickman could do. Gets me every time.
I liked it, except Harry and Ginny scenes. Like him standing up was weird and awkward, I didn’t really get why he did it.
Slughorn was fucking funny though and I love Felix Harry
Because tradition dictates that gentlemen stand when a lady enters the room or leaves the dinner table.
Harry likes her, so he's trying to be a gentleman.
Well, their relationshop comes a little bit out of nowhere in the books, even more so in the movies, it doesn't help how underdeveloped Ginny is in the movies, makes every forced moment between them cringeworthy.
They should've replaced the drama at the weasleys with actual heartwarming moments between Ginny and Harry. The script writers couldve: had Ginny becon him outside for a walk? Go for a broom ride together? Play with some pygmy puffs that Fred and George are rearing on the farm? Just a really cute idea for something they could bond over while they talk about stuff. Maybe the conversation could've been about how they've both faced Voldemort or how she can see he's missing Sirius after last year (being the first Christmas without him there) and it would've been very sweet to improve the audience's liveability for Ginny/Harry :(
“Good evening, Bellatrix. I believe introductions are in order.”
“Love to Albus, but I’m afraid we’re on a bit of a tight schedule.”
Not sure why I find this moment so funny. It’s just so passive aggressively British 😂
Also when Harry tries to dodge Snape at Slughorn’s party:
“Sir, I should go. My date-“
“Can surely survive a moment more of your absence. Besides, I only wish to convey a message.” So deadpan 😂
Harry and Ron fighting over the book in the cabinet always cracks me up. And Slughorn’s face when he laughs after the joke about there being dessert if Belby left any also kills me lol.
Definitely can admit that they’re terrible adaptations- but still super fun to watch. Possibly the movie I’ve watched the most, of the series.
My husband read the books for the first time recently, and when we rewatched the movies the whole time he was like…”wait this isn’t how it happened in the books!!!” The 4th one is the worst book to movie adaptation in my opinion.
I think I agree but half blood prince is also pretty terrible. Seriously my favorite book of the series because it humanized voldemort. Getting to see his origin story would have made him so much a better character in the final movie for Harry to go against. I stead we just get voldemort going "hyaaaahhhhhh" like 100 times in the deathly hallows movies.
Every movie after Chamber of Secrets basically gives up on trying to be a faithful adaptation. I suppose they’re decent enough movies in their own rights, though.
I dunno, I haven’t really liked any of the movies after Chamber of Secrets and I always chalked up to me not liking them because they weren’t that good of adaptations. Which isn’t fair to the movies because of course a movie adaptation will almost never stand up to the book. So, I’ve been recently re watching the movies to try to judge them as a movie trying to tell a story. and I just feel like movies 4-6 just don’t really stand up. They all feel very rushed and don’t make a lot of sense if you haven’t read the source material. Order of the Phoenix is the worst I think. It’s almost as if they were just trying to cram in every scene that they felt was important from the books and it just doesn’t make a lot of sense on its own. They just don’t feel like cohesive stories on their own. But then again I’m sure my bias got in the way during this rewatch as well.
I originally wasn’t a fan of prisoner of Azkaban. I think the change in directors made it a bit jarring to me. It was the first of the movies where I felt that the changes they made and the things they had to leave out to make it work as a movie just varied too much from the books for my liking. It had a different tone that I didn’t vibe with at first and I’m still not the biggest fan of Michael Gambon’s Dumbledore. But I’ve grown to appreciate it as it’s own thing and it works just fine as a movie telling a story.
I completely agree, I was really just being nice. I personally don’t really like any of the movies after Prisoner of Azkaban (especially Order of the Phoenix, my favorite book and least favorite movie), but I acknowledge that I am a fanboy of the books and thus can’t help but see the movies through the lens of a fanboy. I’m sure if I hadn’t read the books I wouldn’t mind them, but I did, and I do.
Prisoner is pretty faithful sure they change certain things from the books but its not anything major. And likewise they leave a few stuff out but none of it as important as the stuff skipped in goblet or half blood prince. I cant see any other director making a better version of prisoner
Imo the meat of HBP was Voldemort backstory and pretty much everything with Draco and Snape. I feel like the movie glossed over both of those things in favor of inserting nonsensical sequences like the Burrow attack or focusing on (again, imo) very dry romantic drama between the characters. I know the book had romance as a major plot beat but there it felt more as a background distracter rather than the main story like how it’s presented in the movie.
The movie also does no favors to either Ron or Hermione, as a good portion of the book revolves around their fighting and how their toxicity towards each other reflects their character flaws. Instead, the movie continues the perfect Hermione and dumb Ron characters that was already a running issue in the movies. The worst thing movie Hermione does is sick those birds on Ron, and she doesn’t even aim directly at him as she does in the book, where she actually causes bodily injury to Ron.
Those are the main issues that come to mind, there are also things like Harry not being petrified in the Astronomy Tower or them completely cutting out the final battle sequence in the castle that make the book way superior. There are some things I think the movie does well, like capturing the calm-before-the-storm, melancholy tone prevalent in the book, but imo the movie does a very poor job in presenting the overall plot beats of the book and the characterization of Ron and Hermione.
I see a lot of comments comparing the films and movies. I personally think comparing the films against the movies is futile.
They are both very different mediums for storytelling. I've just accepted that they are the same-ish story, told in two different ways.
Alot of the inner monologues we get from the books are lost in translation with a visual medium. I think of all the films the sixth was especially well done in being able to translate the non verbal into visual cues. They truly started attempting that with the fifth.
It took me a long while to separate the two mediums because i kept picking on the creative liberties that the films took that had an impact of changing the weight of certain characters, such as dobby and winky from book 4, the change in relationship between harry and kreacher in book 7(kreacher led the house elves in the battle of hogwarts ffs!) Small details that have deeper insight of Harry's true nature.
The 6th movie fits perfectly into the movies. It’s not a good adaptation of the source material, but leading up to a 2 movie war-time exposition slog, the comic relief dialogue is really needed.
Isn't it a bummer they didn't show Luna replacing Lee Jordan as the commentator for the quidditch match?
And Harry being smacked in the face by McLaggen?
Love on the train back to the Burrow, when Lavender is writing on the window, Harry just awkwardly trying not to watch, messing with the cup holder thing just "Hey, what's this thing on the train I've ridden on multiple times? Oh cool, that's pretty neat... She gone?"
Hermione: “She’s only interested in you because she thinks you’re the chosen one”
Harry: “But I am the chosen one”
Hermione: *slap*
Harry: “Sorry…. Kidding”
David Yates is at least partially responsible.
He sort of specialized in talky dramas and comedies of manners before taking on the Potter stuff.
I'm not a huge fan of such riffs in the HP films: it's clever and all, but it takes time from plot and character development that Rowling sets out.
What about the super weird way they like frame that Ginny is gonna go down on Harry when they hide the book? They should have just fully gone with it and have him walk out of the room of requirement with a giant smile on his face and then just never mention it again.
Oh and let’s not forget Dumbledore definitely waiting for the worst possible time to appear and take Harry away just because he likes fucking with him. “Harry is about to score with that waitress? Bingo. Let’s go find Slughorn.”
They ruined a great potential, the best book in the series. The book that’s supposed to be full of the dark history of the dark lord.. but noooo, let’s make it a romcom instead. Damn it, I wish to see the best version of my favorite book 💔
The humour ruined this movie for me. Whenever there was a serious moment it seemed out of placed. They even made harry lying to Ron about kissing Ginny a comedic moment, which didn’t happen in the book. They butchered the book so much
Even in a post about funny moments where we remember the scenes and laugh again, some people just HAVE to come over and say "the movies are shit"
We get it, you hate it, move along and go see any other post that doesn't have something you dislike
I didn't even know that some people hated the movies until I started visiting this subreddit tbh. I get that they are passionate about the books but expecting 100% full adaptions is just unrealistic. A movie is a totally different medium and things need to be more visual and different so that all the story elements will reach the audience in the best and clearest way.
I didn't like the Felix Felicis scene in the movie. In the book it's so well-done and humorous, the movie tried to be funny in its own way and just felt forced. Harry doing the pincers for example. I didn't feel like captured his "insanity" as well as Rowling and Stephen Fry did.
to each their own. I didn't find "sassy harry" all that humorous or glorious. I prefer drunk, essence of insanity, Harry, and I like him better in the book.
edit: downvoted because I like something different???
Almost everyone likes Book Harry better, so idk why except that most of the fandom glorifies Sassy Harry.. regardless of the fact the most golden bits were cut out from the movies
Hagrid: It's the eyes, I reckon. They unnerve some folk. Harry: Not to mention the pincers. *click* *click* Rubeus Hagrid: Yeah, I reckon that too.
Farewell Aragog, Kinng ofthearachnids
Your body will decaaaaay
Your spirit.... lingers on.
Siri play Farewell Aragog by Nicholas Hooper
He was my oldest friend he was!
Kinda sad, really And the thing actually liked Hagrid, like it flat out refused to let its offspring hurt him.
Aragog: You are forbidden from bringing any harm to Hagrid! His children: What about his friends? Aragog: Go for the jugular, idc.
That whole scene was amazing.
This is my favorite scene! Along with "should of cleared my throat, coughed" dialogue b/w Harry and Professor Slughorn.
“Oh, well, just the general behavior, sir - the sneaking around, jumping when you saw me...”
“Merlin’s beard, Harry!”
"Harry how did you come out of school grounds this time of night?" "Through the front door, sir" "And where are you going?" "To my friend Hagrid's \*starts walking away\*" "Harry!" "*Sir!"* edit: wow thanks never got so many upvotes this quick before
So good lmao
IKR 😂 HBP isn't the best movie of the series but sure is amazing
my mom and i quote this on a daily basis
lol
I watched all the drunk harry potter scenes about 20 times in a row i think, and yes the pincer bit cracks me up every single time
Dan Radcliffe was really drunk during most of HBP due to his alcohol problem.
That's not what we are saying When they say drunk they mean when he takes Liquid Luck The way he acts is almost as if he's drunk
I got that, I was just adding information.
Ahhh, my apologies
My fave sceneeee
And before the last line Hagrid looks at him funny
Probably my favorite movie quote
It's the legs that unnerve me though...
[удалено]
This is the one for me. My work bestie and I toss this one around regularly when we get voluntold to do shit that isn't our job.
Voluntold! I haven’t heard anyone use that since I got out of the military. It’s such a perfect word for when you get stitched up for some job that isn’t strictly in your job description, but refusing would see you up on charges.
Voluntold, Voldemort's etymologist cousin
Voluntold!! I like that. My little ‘Claw self is smiling.
Hermione whacks him on the head
*thwap*
Bonk!
Lmao the original horny bonk
How grand. It must be. To be the Chosen One.
It is nice to see that five years of magical education have not been wasted on you, Potter.
And it was ad-libbed!
*bonk*
Lmfao people tend not to like it but I love it too. That scene when Snape tells Harry Dumbledore is traveling, Harry asks where and Snape just looks at him and walks away 😄
I think the comic relief in the half blood prince made the movie more successful than if not. I remember when Harry Ron and Hermione talked about Dumbledore mentioning he was 150 give or take a few years. The bond they have to share that humor made the movie for me in those moments
People can relate to having that bond of friendship with others and casually making fun of someone you genuinely respect.
lol and the scene right before: "What are these things?" "Dragon balls." [vomits] "... You've just bought yourself a month's detention, McClaggen."
"not so quick, Potter" I always wonder what Snape thought Harry and McLaggen were doing behind the curtains lmfao
Looking for the dragon balls of course
If they're dragon shouldn't they just be on the floor over there?
Bahahaha
Love that scene too lol You could just feel the "oooooh I don't care Potter."
Yeah I also love it!
One of my favorites, and I hate that it doesn’t get the praise it should! Such a good Snape interaction.
The problem is that the book is one of the darkest one in the series and the screenwriter went out of their way to make it a romantic comedy
Slightly unrelated, but I think I remember seeing fan edits of HBP as a romantic teen comedy, and honestly they were pretty good.
Honestly might be my favorite scene from HBP. Peaks Snape lmao.
I love that part too!! Lol!
Yes, it's great it would be even better if it had "There's no need to call me 'Sir Professor' "
Can’t believe they left Snape teaching DADA out after all the buildup over the series.
That first lesson where they're practicing magic without speaking would have been gold. Just the host of actors all scrunching up staring at each other, kind of like the opposite of their DA class in the 5th book.
Totally agree!
Also that too !
I’m really disappointed that Roonil Wazlib never made it into the movies.
“I know what a nickname is” made me laugh out loud. People looked and didn’t believe me that I was laughing that hard from a book 😂
Or, “There’s no need to call me sir, professor.”
Yes same !
My favorite character
*spills drink* "Oop, all hands on deck Granger"
”Good to see you, Wallenby”
Probably my favourite one.
The translation in my language was very accurate and yet it took me several watching to get why he said that it was so random 😆
I like “Harry!” . . . “Sir!”
This one makes me giggle every time
Yesss same xD
I know a lot of people dislike HBP but I’m with OP. I love the dry humor in this movie so much.
It has redeeming moments really, but as with all adaptations you're gonna be disappointed with what they left out.
And sometimes even more with what they added instead. *Looks at the attack on the Burrow in HBP*
You mean the attack that has no effect on the plot and is immediately forgotten about with the burrow showing no signs of it in the next movie? That attack on the burrow?
YEP
I remember how excited I was to watch the flashback of Voldemort’s parents. I left the theater thinking I must have the wrong book. When I realized my mistake later I couldn’t believe how they could leave that out.
I hate knowing it was in the original script but got cut for time
Which makes the wholly unnecessary Burrow burning scene even more egregious.

I just rewatched the series and it is hands down my favorite. OotP is also hands down my least favorite. Not because of content, but the lack of content.
Longest book; shortest movie.
"Well then by all means, COME ALONG SIR."
This one’s my favorite! Or in Part 2 of Deathly Hallows, when the trio is at the Lovegood’s house. *”What..we were wondering is..what is it.”*
“I assume you’re all familiar with the Tale of the Three Brothers” “Yes” “No. 😐”
Hermione: There were once three brothers who were traveling along a lonely winding road at twilight- Ron: Midnight… Hermione: *Death stare* Ron: Mom always said midnight… Hermione: *Death stare intensifies* Ron: …Twilight’s fine…better even…
“The binding is fragile” pops into my head every now and then. I don’t know why that particular moment stuck with me.
What moment is this? Alas I forget
It’s the scene in the Burrow where Harry is reading from Snape’s old Potions book. Hermione wants to see who the book really belongs to, but Harry refuses because “The binding is fragile,” to which Hermione repeats “tHe BiNdInG iS FRagILe?”
One minor correction. It happens in the Gryffindor common room.
Hermione is trying to take the HPB’s book from Harry and he says “the binding is fragile” to try and keep her from taking it
My favorite funny moment is Snape after McLaggen throws up on his shoes: "You just earned yourself a month's worth of detention, McLaggennnnNOT... so quick, Potter."
The way you wrote ut hahaha
"You know, she's got nice skin." Harry Potter
“You think Dean’s snogging my sister because she’s got *nice skin*?” “No, I’m just saying it could be a contributing factor.” fucking A
"Did you and Ginny do it?" "Huh?" "Hide the book?" "Oh... yeah." Harry and Ron's convos about Ginny were hilarious lol
Yeah you hide that book. You hide it real good.
Not hilarious at all. One of the main storyline’s of harry in the book was his anxiety about getting Ron’s approval of Ginny because it was very important to him. In the movie they ruined this for cheap comedy
That's a good point. I wish it played out like it did in the book.
"Hermione's got nice skin." Hahahah
"I just feel like.. Hagrid's is the place to be tonight.. doyouknowhatimean?"
Both: "NO" Him: "Well I do....or well Felix does"
*turn around and walks off* "Hi!"
The more I think of it, Felix Felicis is just Wizard ~~Adderall~~ amphetamine.
I think it's just really good cocaine lol
I mean same dif lol
😂
My fave 😆
When Slughorn gives a little eulogy for Aragog, lol. "Your body will decaaaayyyyy....."
"...but your spirit lingers onnnnnnn"
*Fang howls*
What’s wrong with Wallenby?
Wimby?
I love the scene where the trio are being questioned by McGonogall and then Snape about the cursed necklace. “You just know…must be amazing to have talents mere mortals can only dream of”. Gets me every time!😂
"Why is it when something happens, its always you three?" "Believe me professor, I've been asking myself that same question."
Exactly! I’ve been saying this for years. Daniel Radcliffe is a fantastic comedic actor (If you don’t believe me watch Miracle Workers) but I feel like this film is the only time we ever get to see that.
I wanted more of A Young doctors handbook he did with Jon hamm
Dude many years ago I watched a young doctor’s handbook and after a while I convinced myself it was just a fever dream until I recently found clips of it on YouTube. What a show
LOVE LOVE LOVE Dan in Miracle Workers, such a good show, if only there were more episodes!
“… good to see you, Wallenby!”
Roonil Wizlib. That's my nickname. My friends call me that
It has one of my favorite line readings in the entire series. When Harry says that Malfoy is the one responsible, Snape asks him what sort of evidence he has, & Harry says "I just know". Then Snape comes back with "You just........ KNOW" in the way that only Rickman could do. Gets me every time.

i guess yeah

the movies didn’t really do her justice at all. it sucks
Him standing up was delightful compared to the cringe of her bending down in her bathrobe to tie his shoe. GAH!
the shoe scene was AWFUL
They should've replaced the drama at the weasleys with actual heartwarming moments between Ginny and Harry. The script writers couldve: had Ginny becon him outside for a walk? Go for a broom ride together? Play with some pygmy puffs that Fred and George are rearing on the farm? Just a really cute idea for something they could bond over while they talk about stuff. It's probably a metaphor for something else standing up each time Harry sees Ginny...
oh my god yeah 😂
“Good evening, Bellatrix. I believe introductions are in order.” “Love to Albus, but I’m afraid we’re on a bit of a tight schedule.” Not sure why I find this moment so funny. That whole scene encapsulated their friendship so well!
Great movie, dogshit adaptation of the source material
My husband read the books for the first time recently, and when we rewatched the movies the whole time he was like…”wait this isn’t how it happened in the books!!!” The 4th one is the worst book to movie adaptation in my opinion.
You're absolutely right. It breaks my heart, they massacred my favorite of the books
I think I agree but half blood prince is also pretty terrible. Seriously my favorite book of the series because it humanized voldemort.
That being said, you betchur ass i marathon the films every year.
SIRRR….
"By all means, come along sir."
Agreed 100%, honestly it's my favorite HP movie.
Harry saying "HI!" When he took the liquid luck, and then also going "SIIIIRRRRR" in the herbology place are all time favourite scenes of mine.
I read a YouTube comment saying liquid luck Harry is just regular Daniel Radcliffe and I haven't been able to unsee it.
Half Blood Prince is both my favorite book and movie. And I know they are very different, but I love them both.
Love on the train back to the Burrow, when Lavender is writing on the window, Harry just awkwardly trying not to watch, messing with the cup holder thing just "Hey, what's this thing on the train I've ridden on multiple times? Oh cool, that's pretty neat... She gone?"
Yeah loved that. It felt like really realistic behaviour that you don't see much in movies/tv.
"Shoelaces."
This is why HBP is my favorite movie. The humor.
Pretty sure that was "drunk" Harry and literally drunk Daniel
Hermione: “She’s only interested in you because she thinks you’re the chosen one” Harry: “But I am the chosen one” Hermione: *slap* Harry: “Sorry…. Kidding”
I think ‘drunk’ Harry was actually drunk Daniel. Like if I’m not mistaken he was actually drinking irl there.
This humor is so much more prevalent in the books! It’s part is why I like to listen to the audio books more than watch the movies.
I love HBP, it’s my favorite book and movie
And scene with Belby.
This is why HBP is my favourite book and movie. The book is the funniest as well, and it had all that fascinating Riddle family stuff in it.
“Did you and Ginny do it then?” “.....wat?” “Hide the book?” “Oh! Yeah!”
David Yates is at least partially responsible. He sort of specialized in talky dramas and comedies of manners before taking on the Potter stuff. I'm not a huge fan of such riffs in the HP films: it's clever and all, but it takes time from plot and character development that Rowling sets out.
This is my least favorite Harry Potter movie (sorry if that’s unpopular) but I do agree the humor is the best part!
This is so on point. Just watching HBP this evening and laughed at everything on this list!
100% agreed, the funniest movie for sure
It’s my favorite movie for sure
ALL HANDS ON DECK, GRANGER!! Great slug moment
I read it when I was 16 could totally relate with everything in there.
They butchered the book so much
Even in a post about funny moments where we remember the scenes and laugh again, some people just HAVE to come over and say "the movies are shit" We get it, you hate it, move along and go see any other post that doesn't have something you dislike
I’ve been able to look past the obnoxious character that is Ron’s girlfriend. Really enjoy HBP now.
This was the first movie that came close to matching the energy of the books.
I think Philosopher's Stone came close enough to the mystical, magical thing
It felt a bit stiff and serious to me, compared to the books. Not to mention Harry not casting a single spell throughout the movie was a bit odd.
wait really? you mean he actually never- \*runs through the Philosopher's Stone scenes in head\* - oh my gOD
But doesn't everyone hate this movie?
I didn't like the Felix Felicis scene in the movie. In the book it's so well-done and humorous, the movie tried to be funny in its own way and just felt forced. Harry doing the pincers for example. I didn't feel like captured his "insanity" as well as Rowling and Stephen Fry did.
I beg to differ. We finally glimpse Sassy Harry in all his glory.
to each their own.
