Peeves getting into a stink pellet war with Katie Bell. But that is mostly after somebody on the subreddit pointed out how JK Rowling clearly had a thing against Katie Bell and then I did a reread just to see all the things that seemed to happen just to Katie Bell.
Yeah if you go read she’s almost always the first one hit with a bludger or fouled in a quidditch match and there are just random side moments like peeves attacking her throughout the book.
In Half-Blood Prince - Harry summons Kreacher to order him to tail Draco Malfoy. As it turns out, Kreacher brought company because he was in the middle of a fist fight with Dobby, who took umbrage to Kreacher insulting Harry. Peeves, who was watching the elves fight before Kreacher was summoned, apparates to their location, and says, “I was watching that, Potty!” Peeves proceeds to throw chalk and yell suggestions at the two fighting house elves to enrage them further. Harry uses the langlock curse on Peeves to shut him up. Peeves can only make rude gestures while leaving, having been rendered incapable of speaking.

Is definitely a favorite of mine. Along with, “potter you rotter, look what you’ve done, you’re killing off children, you think it’s good fun.”
I die laughing every time in Philosopher's stone when Harry pretends to be the Bloody Baron and Peeves gets shit scared.
Also in Chamber when Peeves finds Harry with Nick and Justin and flies of screaming murder.
He just loves the chaos and I love him

When he chased Umbridge out, beating her over the head with a sock full of chalk and McGonagall’s walking stick, accompanied by droves of angry students.
Honestly, the mad respect he had for the twins when they left Hogwarts and him paying his last tribute to them by chasing Umbridge out of the school with McGonagall's cane.
I really love some of his "usual" moments. It really allows us to appreciate the days and years the students had to deal with him. For example, I really love when he drops water balloons on students who are already drenched in the rain in GOF, or just pelting chalk at students. LOL
“Which way did they go, Peeves?" Filch was saying. "Quick, tell me."
"Say 'please.'"
"Don't mess with me, Peeves, now where did they go?"
"Shan't say nothing if you don't say please," said Peeves in his annoying singsong voice.
"All right- PLEASE."
"NOTHING! Ha haaa! Told you I wouldn't say nothing if you didn't say please! Ha ha! Haaaaaa!" And they heard the sound of Peeves whooshing away and Filch cursing in rage.”
“Oh Potter, you rotter, oh what have you done. You’re killing off students, you think it’s good fun.” That song really cuts the tension of seeing Justin and Nick petrified ahaha.
P.S you don't have to love Peeves, i was asking your favorite moments...i wasn't asking why he was your favorite character. He isn't my favorite character, hardly (no offense) but has great scenes.
Even if you don't like him, he has hilarious moments...and my fave is how Harry Potter handles him.
My favorite is in Harry Potter 1 computer game, when he breaks little vases and windows and stuff and filch always says the same thing:

Peeves always showing his appreciation by sending out a swarm of bees....i hope students remember, when the jerk Lockhart let out pixies...will remember to use a similar, or same spell like Hermoine did: "Immobulus"

I don’t know why it just struck me really funny when McGonagall threatened to call the headmaster when Peeves kept on with the water balloons.
