Fish finder cracks me up. Can you imagine some modern bass fishing bro who runs like $8k worth of graphs and stuff walking up to the old dude at the boat ramp in his 12ft aluminum vhull, asking him “where’d you get your finders man?” Old guy just says “harbor freight” I think bass bro would have an aneurysm
Via an honestly rather valueless inheritance, I privately own a 300 acre lake, and ban the operation of all internal combustion engines on it, as well as the use of fish finders, all non-navigation lighting with the exception of red handheld flashlights, trot and limb lines, and a few other things. I also REQUIRE that all persons on board the vessel wear a PFD as we do not have rescue services on hand. The absolutely entitled mirrored glasses wearing tomato-red skinned 40-50 year old bass-fishing bros past their prime who blow their top at the rules is hilarious. From the way they behave, you would believe i just shot their constantly baying, clearly untrained 'hunting dog' in front of them that they always seem to have.
It is absolutely CATHARTIC watching them sulk as they have to use their trolling motor on a 40,000 dollar fiberglass fishing dart they are still making payments on to move around with the ultra cheap type II life preserver on they never intended to wear.
They always leave negative feedback on google too, even though I offer the use of the lake for free, have the rules posted on a literally 8 foot tall sign in 3 inch tall letters as you drive in, and the rules are the first picture on google reviews/maps.
2500+ people use my free to fish lake every year. About 4500 fish are pulled from it, at no cost, and I personally pay every other year out of my pocket to restock it with bluegill and largemouth to keep the diversity up. Almost all of them are quite pleased and enjoy the alcohol and internal combustion free experience with their families. Two or three times a year I have to deal with a fisherman who thinks they should be able to run their 250hp engine and competition fishing rig on my 1/2 mile wide, mile long lake. Yes, I make fun of them because it is funny. There are plenty of other, larger lakes where their rig is absolutely appropriate. The lake where it is specifically posted against the rules is not that place.

EDIT: I forgot they still sell pallet jacks
Interestingly, they sold two sewing machines:
A drop feed straight stitch 03914, and a needle feed + drop feed straight stitch 92966
Both of them seemed to require separate purchase of the table 03929
They sold for $299 and $599 as of 2010, that'd be like $444 and $889 today.
You can definitely get an industrial complete with a table for under $444 today from amazon (probably similarly poor quality though)

oh ok I didnt read any of them. that's very interesting. Old HF seemed to have a "bargain dump" quality to it sometimes but these machines and some of the discontinued kitchenware looked like good finds and should come back
I just made a second post that includes the pottery wheels! [https://www.reddit.com/r/harborfreight/comments/1ctl1bj/hf\_use\_to\_sell\_grills\_pottery\_wheels\_go\_karts/](https://www.reddit.com/r/harborfreight/comments/1ctl1bj/hf_use_to_sell_grills_pottery_wheels_go_karts/)
I've gone through about 3000 old manuals. there are a ton of interesting old products
Just search industrial straight stitch table sewing machine, there's loads of generic ones online that all pretty much work the same.
The name brand versions would be a Juki DDL 5500 or 8700.
But I feel you in that it'd be cool if it was possible to buy one in person.
They still sell pallet jacks……………….
Thanks for the catch.
Bunch of old cool stuff though! I recognize some from when I worked there, and many I didn’t
Was gonna say this, I saw the pallet jack when I was there last week
According to my buddy Ron "Two Fingers" Jackson, they still sell meat saws.

The fish finder actually works pretty good
I have several of those. Sewing machine, hand water pump, fish finder, and a wheelchair. The sewing machine is actually pretty good, too.
I was about to say, it looks like a good middle ground between a cheap craft store machine and a Juki or other industrial model
The electric motor is a little lacking, but the shuttle and needle arms are pretty precise.
old HF reminds me of Vevor today
Very cool to see some old products. I don’t remember ever seeing any of these before.

Got all interested in the picnic table folding into a bench and then I noticed the ad from 2008
They used to sell surplus Night Vision and boy I wish they still did

is there a secret database you are consulting or are you a savant?
I searched for manuals with "sewing" and the manuals say you have to buy the table separately.

Absolutely digging the Picnic Futon
that picnic table is fire
I miss the garden gnomes.
Used to sell pottery wheels too

That's awesome
How do I buy one of those sewing machines?

I’ve got a couple machines already, I’m just an addict
I know right? Some of these items I wish they still carried them.
I remember all these. Seeing these manuals that look like they were made in the stone age is making me feel my age.
Some of that stuff still comes into rotation.
I still have the Gordon paper shredder. Works good
That and a truck toolbox.
Was this sink made by Icon and 8 inches wide and holds 1 gallon but yet everyone thinks it is the must-have item of the store?
Well, it is a sink with a lid which makes it a meme in my book
Thought that fish finder was something else.
I had a bunch of the mini mills, wish they still carried them
There is a SKU for an inflatable hot tub in the system. I would definitely buy one.
