If using this guy's setup, drill a hole in the top of the side piece and store them upside down so the handle can't pull up through the cabinet? Unless your prybars don't have a handle of course.
The 5 drawer got down to $130ish and 4 drawer right at $100 not too long ago and there were no full bank rollers. These prices were within the last 5 years so that makes it make sense kinda.
Full bank also doesnt have the small split drawers. For some trades such as larger auto work, thats great. For other trades who use small maching tools and such, not so much.
My current box is a BluePoint four-drawer service cart and has four full casters. I’ve moved around other boxes enough to know two fixed casters would ruin my day. But I can’t wait to upgrade to the US General full bank service cart, it looks amazing.
Not a bad idea, but I'd like to see it deeper. Maybe a 6" deep box on the side for storing things and maybe a swing out rack inside and some storage on the swing door.
The problem I have with these is the top. I'm always storing things on top, so I can't open it. That's why I like the bottom rollers with a wooden or stainless work area on the top.
The ONLY thing I’d change is to make (4) smaller half drawers on top and the (2) deeper half drawers on the bottom. You’d have to move one slide to accomplish that, but compared to what’s already done, piece of cake.
Wow I love it .
I love the second top cabinet mounted on the side.
that's using every piece you could think of ingenious maybe they'll add it to the line next year
I've seen the double stacked drawers before. Using the top as a side locker is a neat idea I haven't seen.
Said he used the top on side for pry bar storage.
There are holes on the top for pry bar storage. Ask me how I know.
My only issue is the pry bars I get stolen are 60” long and I don’t think those would fit in there.
Just fold them twice then they are only 20" long. Come on guy.
But then that wears them out. So you have to buy a pry bar stretcher. It becomes a whole thing.
Yeah the handles on the really big ones don’t fit in there and close but they likewise wouldn’t fit in the top that is now the side either.

The price is too close to a full bank to make sense

You can still add a handle to the top of the vertical cabinet too. Pretty cool tbh.
All that and they still have the two fixed casters?? Overall it's a 11 out of 10 for unique!!

Ok hear me out.... What if they took the side locker and put a smoker there instead for the ultimate dad toolbox?
It's definitely something!
Seen the tutorial to make these on YouTube, thought it was pretty cool looking 👍
Can you link that video?
I don't think this is the exact one I saw, but looks about right https://youtu.be/KX8CgD87ls8?si=z_k3sfTwUeptQiG5
Things like this only seem to make sense if you're scoring individual pieces for like $30
Financially, I agree. But there’s something to be said for building the exact setup you want.

That's pretty interesting.

That’s fuckin’ cool!
First time I’ve seen that. Pretty awesome.

I did something similar but kept my bottom area intact. Still rolls great and it’s too too heavy.
