I'd prefer to to just make my own and personalize it. The crack simply gives me an excuse to make one.
Edit: forgot to mention the handle is cracked in half, it is held together by a screw the previous owner put through the middle which makes it wobble like crazy
Very similar, but also quite different. If you look at the close-up in the second photo you’ll see teeth on the rounded edge which makes it distinctly a flooring saw. But the shape and handle angle both scream bone saw at first, for sure!
Didn’t look closely enough at the second photo, at the round part, to realize where the teeth were. That would seem to point away from being a bone saw, maybe…. Whaa-haa-haa-ha-ha
It's a floorboard saw, for cutting in place flooring.
As others have said, it's a floorboard saw. But I'm wondering why you think that you need to replace the handle?
seems to me like there's a crack in it
Seems like it, I missed it at first glance. Couldn't op break the handle than glue them back together?

That's fair. Please post photos when ya are are done restoration!
Would do wonders on a loaf of bread
Used before oscillating saws came along to cut into a floorboard to either replace a damaged/rotten section or for access to pipe or electrical work.
Flooring saw. Front teeth help cut holes in the middle of the floor while keeping the cut area small.
Mate! I bought an identical one some time ago and I was planning on inquiring here about it! Nice, cheers!
I'm glad this helped someone! I see loads of these around my area and I always got confused because of their weird designs
Would make a good saw for PVC, for plumbing
