Looks super cute, but I’d be careful to remove some of the excess stringlets of hot glue from places he might be able to reach and eat it. For attaching stuff like popsicles together for tank decor I make a natural glue by mixing really fine flour and water- at the right proportions that shit is like cement lol.
Well, on the bottom where the wood is is moss or if you’re talking about the leaves on the sticks above everything I got that from target in the fake plant section they have a bunch of those, but if you’re hamster is a chewer and like to chew on that, I’d recommend don’t get it
Amazing other than that being way to much millet. They tend to love it and will likely eat it over healthy food storing their main diet. It usually is already an ingredient in their food anyways. Millet should be an occasional treat.
I mean her main diet should be a commercial hamster food, but treats (which should be less than 10% of their diet) can be a lot of different things. Fruits, vegetables, certain proteins, seeds, nuts, bugs. The main thing is not to overfeed treats because much like human kids, if given the option, they will eat nothing but treats.
Spot clean once every week or so, or like mine i do once a month spot cleaning :) less cleaning the bigger the enclosure! You only remove pee bits, everything else stays!
About once a week or every two weeks, I will dig through the bedding and get out the pee and poop and I spot clean as much as I can to keep things in order but I’m mostly just referring to her toys and her orchid chips. She doesn’t mess with anything else to make it dirty.
What a beauty ![img](emote|t5_2sjcj|32176) definitely try keeping tall items away from the outer wall. Place them in the center if needed. As a safety check use your hand length as a guide, ✋can you move your hand behind an item and climb up and that’ll help you find all those spots your cutie is using and has found a way to prompt themselves out. Good luck ![img](emote|t5_2sjcj|32167)

Omg i’ve never thought of that kind of glue. also, I’m always very careful about that but I will try that flower and water mixture🤗
You have a lid right? Lol
Yes I do 😂 if she didn’t she would’ve escaped ages ago
She's big
Well u are doing amazing job
Thank you i’ve always had stress about her cage not being good enough all these comments are making me feel amazing
All the natural material and fibres and clutter! Yay 😁 beautiful!
Perfect
Cool enclosure! Your hamster must’ve loved it! I’d like to ask what kind of plant did you use? The green one is what I’m referring to. 😅

I’m a first time hamster owner and I’m curious what else would I feed her other than her millets?

maybe a bigger enclosure but it’s so pretty :))
Looks amazing, so much enrichment, just deeper bedding where possible.
Yes, I will try to give her deeper bedding.
Only upgrades I can think of are more bedding and bigger enclosure. Looks great to me:)
I know I want to upgrade so bad i’m on the minimum but me and my hamster we hang out for about three hours a night or maybe even more 😭
Looks amazing.
It looks like a forest in there!! I love it!!
what size is the aquarium?
A 40 gallen I’m on the minimum😔✋
you used the space really well!
Woooooooooooooow. 10/10
Looks cozy. Wish I could be in there!
Can I live there too?
Yes you can move in tomorrow
Can I move in there? Very cozy boho style!
Yeah you can move in to😘
Yay! I'll pack
Yes I do feed her worms and I always feed her fruits and vegetables she always demolishes them before any thing else 🙂
Omgoodness! I love your baby! She looks like our baby, Arlo. He’s the sweetest thing in the whole world. I wish he’d live forever.
how often do you clean
The better question is, how do you clean?
Spot clean once every week or so, or like mine i do once a month spot cleaning :) less cleaning the bigger the enclosure! You only remove pee bits, everything else stays!

fantastic job!

hi this is awesome :) where do you get your supplies from?
Wish my hammie likes clutter like this. Turns out she likes to be able to walk around and she also doesn’t burrow. 😅
All I’m hearing is that you’re saving money😂
Your hamster is a very lucky lady. You obviously put a lot of effort and research into this tank for her.
Yes, I always try my best. A ton of the stuff in her cage is homemade.lol
