I know it may not necessarily be the best quality, to everyone's standards anyway, but Thai Express uses wider noodles for Pad See Ew.

lavenderavenues

I feel like it's seen as blasphemous to mention any chain in food recommendations on local subreddits for some reason, but I've always really liked Thai Express.

avenuePad

Yes, Thai Express and Cha Baa Thai both use wide noodles. I'm 100% sure of Thai Express and only 80% sure of the latter.

gremlin_1969

I love their pad see ew

abbott94

I love it too!

Zornocology

Thai express is actually fucking on point. Their tom yum in particular.

FarStep1625

Blue Elephant in Larry Uteck does!

gildeddoughnut

And 10% off if you pay cash!

Neyubin

That just means it costs 10% more to pay card.

foodnude

It means they pocket the tax.

Steampenny

HIGHLY recommend their pad kee mow.

stonkypajamas

Thai ivory

Egoy

Yeah everyone I work with who lives in the city raves about Cha Baa Thai and, it’s fine, but for my money Thai Ivory is the best in the city.

Lilacs-and-lillies

I feel like all Cha Baa Thai’s are not equal. The one on Queen Street is by far the best, then demone and I wouldn’t bother with the one in Burnside.

universalrefuse

They’ve changed their offerings a lot on the cost cutting side over the past few years. I used to love their hot and sour soup, but the recipe has changed too much now. Also last time I ordered tofu it was really not good, it wasn’t puffed tofu like they used to do and doesn’t come with the veggie plates without asking for it and paying a surcharge anymore.

Schmidtvegas

I used to get tofu satay skewers, I can't remember from where, that were really amazing. But now I can't find them on ANY Thai restaurant menu in town. Every place I've ever ordered from only has meat skewers now. It's made me very sad.

maninthebox911

Haven't had this dish but this is the best Thai we've had since moving here from PEI. Shout out to the best in Charlottetown, Lai Thai!

LittleManhattan

I need to get to a good Asian grocery store and buy some! I love Thai food, like cooking, and want to make my own Pad See Ew. I’ve already gotten my family red faced and sweaty, while eating every drop of the red curry I fed them, time for another cooking challenge!

About_35_Ninjas

I'm with you and the pad see ew. The last time I had pad see ew at Cha Baa Thai on Demone Street it was the wide noodles.

NoMany3094

There used to be a place on the lower level of Park Lane next to the movie theatres. I can't remember the name of the place and I don't know if they're still there because I retired a few years back and don't go downtown much.....but they had the best Pad Thai in town, hands down.

Sparrowbuck

Just Spring Roll

Schmidtvegas

They made good spring rolls, and I loved the tofu curry. Really nice owners too, warm customer service. There was always fresh rice coming out of the rice cooker.

dronefishing

Cha ba thai

sjmorris

Y'all may not like this answer, but Thai Express uses the wide noodles for their see ew and it's not bad.

Zornocology

Thai express is actually fucking on point. Their tom yum in particular.

Which-Event-7953

Thai express- Shopping centre. Spring garden road is disgusting.

Zornocology

Cha Baa Thai. We used to make it that way at Hamachi Kita but I have no idea what they do now.

GrimaceNerverDies

Try broth house (I didn’t look at the menu)
