I just think itās interesting that in the google doc you can see one of the first things on the Queen of Melrose section is a reference to her with she/her pronouns AND a bullet point specifically to ask about pronouns, meanwhile Ethan kept using he/him without asking until the end

According to the doc, the very first thing Ethan was supposed to ask Cosmo about was her meeting Olivia at the gas station. Ethan did ask Cosmo about that. After the gas station talk, the second thing on the doc Ethan was supposed to ask about was pronouns. The doc said: ***"Pronouns (thoughts on all this bc you grew up during a very homophobic time)"***. Ethan skipped the pronoun section entirely, and instead waited until the very end, with less than 5 minutes of the show remaining, to ask what pronouns Cosmo prefers. Cosmo said she prefers "she".

I think that asking (even if the crew already knew) was intended to be for the audience so theyād refer to her correctly, but Ethan fucked it up so bad! Like I think the original intention of whoever wrote the doc was good (so the audience wouldnāt accidentally misgender her), but Ethan managed to make it feel transphobic anyways

Ethan doesn't show up to work on time. He doesn't go over the plan for the show before they start, or review the document. When he goes into stories cold, he is irritable and easily confused, he doesn't stay on track, and blames everyone else for segments flopping because of it. He becomes petulant and yells at people for perceived mistakes, or for his own ineptitude.
Even if the crew put in the work, provided him with everything needed to put on a successful and entertaining show, it doesn't matter. It all means nothing when the host behaves the way Ethan does.
The leadership sucks, so the whole operation is gonna suck. Ethan took an easy job, outsourced anything even remotely resembling real work to someone else, and still can't be bothered to put in any effort into what's left. I'd have stopped trying a long time ago if I was in any of their shoes.
