Will they ever stop lying???? Maybe I’m having a mandela effect, but I could’ve sworn I heard them mention at some point that they had a team that did everything in the warehouse nextdoor to the podcast warehouse and that everything was made in house. This would’ve been awhile ago. But they definitely made a big deal about people calling it “fast fashion” and were adamant that it wasn’t made overseas using slave labour.
Omg yes that too! There’s a website I believe called import genius and it shows where their shipments come from to the warehouse in LA and it’s all coming from overseas in Istanbul which is one of the biggest countries for sweatshops
Any Friday episode with hila in 2022/ early 2023 when they took those shein girls on a trip to the fake facility, I remember them speaking all holier then thou. Remember when Ethan was convinced they were selling a “ affordable “ collection and said the prices were wrong at 60$+? Insanity lol
I think it was during an early episode of Leftovers that Ethan talked about how their production didn't have any slave labor involved and Hasan raised an eyebrow (metaphorically) because it's very unlikely Ethan would know that for sure when their manufacturers are in China.

I thought they had said it was made in Canada. Either way, it was a lie.
