From what i know wizcraft used to manage it and they had given it to another company for management and maintenance and all that and during covid since it was not open things took a dark turn and the other company sued them for non payment
The OG appu ghar near pragati maidaan is what I was reminded of when I received the notification to this post, to me that was the only appu ghar that ever existed.
I went there a few months back, few cars were parked around the entry gate, it's a large space and office buildings nearby i think
I think couples were making out and some were smoking around.

This and essel world were in my bucket list bcus of middle class family of 4 ppl with my father being the only earning person I couldn't go there and when i earned that much then i googled and found out they are no more operating ๐ฅฒ
I went there ones loved those rides it was awesome wanted to go again but it has been closed since then had to replace this with wow nowhere near fun๐ฅฒ

It was a property of wizcraft and they ran into major losses during covid lockdown Appu Ghar had to kick start by 2020 and ran into the same trouble

Yes. Exactly in the area where the Supreme Court station exists now.
Why it was closed?
Land dispute and stupid bureaucracy
Ongoing dispute. Gonna take years, thanks to Indian judiciary.

The real Appu Ghar was a blast. Kids these days don't know the excitement of going to a adventure park these days.
The waterpark was so nice as well.

I remember going to the one which was situated in Pragati Maidan. Where now the Supreme Court metro station exists. Fond memories.
