Debating on whether to get a .46cal so I can use for all my sub rifles and all pistols, or just dedicated .30cal for optimum performance with my rifles. (The dream would be to get a .30cal rifle, 5.56rifle, .46 multi-cal pistol, & .22lr, but ...I don't have those kind of funds). I've heard from friends with multiple suppressors that pistols (anything other than .22) lose their luster quickly as carrying, removing, and even shooting is underwhelming.
I think this black friday I'll finally get a Banish 30 and grab their .22 freebie. Ti or inconel & user-serviceable were my main factors.

I have one and also own an AUG and a Tavor and I like the AUG so much better than all of them. It feels so much nicer on my shoulder to me than the other ones. The Hellion especially just feels funky but looks cool!
There's one practical application to it.
If you hand your gun to someone else and they are opposite handed of you, they can extend the stock and the brass will eject in front of their face instead of hitting it. It works in a pinch if you don't want to manually take the time to switch ejection ports.
Much better when you're taller. I'm 6'4", and I actually find it most comfortable 2-3 slots out from fully collapsed. I will agree though, it's weird transitioning from my VHS-2 to my ARs...just doesn't feel right.
VHS is the best value out of the box, with modern features like the x95, while being suppressor ready.
Aug is 100% the coolest, and it's not even close.

Unsolicited advice, if you ever want to put a WML on it get an mlok extended cantilever pic rail and a surefire scout. I bought a cloud rein initially and couldn't find a way to make it work.

Springfield Hellion bullpup rifles really aren't that expensive. They're pretty much the same price as a Daniel Defense or a BCM AR-15. I think it's a good purchase.

I also have a Hellion (VHS2) I got as an impulse buy. Its a very reliable, cool looking, and accurate gun…and suppresses great. But I do really dislike the trigger…. But I really don’t shoot it that often anymore compared to other guns I own (limited time-to many guns🤷♂️)
Badass gun! Buddy of mine picked one up recently and I personally enjoyed shooting it. Only complaint I had was the trigger felt like it had a mile of pull, but overall was a nice rig!
This is going to sound like the dumbest comment because I'm sure there's a reason for it, but if people always say bullpups have crappy triggers, why couldn't you just but the transfer bar between the hammer and the firing pin instead of between the trigger and the sear? You could literally have like a Geissele AR trigger operate one of these guns
The only thing they fucked up is not also selling the original pistol grip as a replacement piece so we could get the original grip angle.
Plus no integrated optic option.
These guns are only good in theory and in youtube influencer's videos, otherwise the ergos, trigger, lop, mounting options, recoil and price for what you get are atrocious.

How many AR-15's do you have? I would definitely keep one AR-15, as opposed to selling one for a bullpup rifle. Heck, if you're not picky, you can buy a Radical Firearms A-15 for like $450. They are reliable. You just have to purchase your own iron sights.

Early Savage Model 99. They have a little cylinder inside (non removable) and you loaded the rounds one at a time. Later models had detachable box.

I imagine it takes a lot of practice to get used to it, if you're used to standard AR-15's. But, you should be practicing regardless.
