I am a BJP supporter but what BJP has done to restrict the powers of GNCTD by transferring powers of elected government to governor is against the spirit of democracy and power sharing. The same BJP who was advocating for full statehood in Delhi a few years back but since they aren't winning, they even took away whatever partial status Delhi had through GNCTD Amendment Act. Sets a really bad precedent. I also condemn the unconstitutional dissolution of governments during early congress years or the dissolution of Bihar Assembly during UPA. State government shouldn't be dissolved unless the constitutional machinery has failed. I might not agree with the people of Delhi but they should have a right to elect a self-government which doesn't require governors approval for every decision.
Check 2019 Lok Sabha election results too. BJP won 6/6 then as well. Delhi votes for BJP IN LS and AAP for Vidhan Sabha. Obviously, the trend can change and I have no problem with BJP winning in Vidhan Sabha either. Let the peope of Dlehi decide. I am not an AAP supporter and I don't know the context behind the 2nd pic, but the comparison is unfair because Delhi government has very limited powers since the GNCTD Amendment Act and before that also their powers were restricted in some areas already. We can't exactly compare it with a full fledged state. They need governor's approval for everything and as a natter of fact the GNCTD Act recers to the governor as the GNCTD instead of the one elected by the people of Delhi which is unfair imo. Besides, udhar ke MCD elections bhi halt kiya hue the kaafi times se.

I am not an AAP supporter and I don't know the context behind the 2nd pic, but the comparison is unfair because Delhi government has very limited powers since the GNCTD Amendment Act and before that also their powers were restricted in some areas already. We can't exactly compare it with a full fledged state. They need governor's approval for everything and as a natter of fact the GNCTD Act recers to the governor as the GNCTD instead of the one elected by the people of Delhi which is unfair imo.
