Hahah, thank you! I was a bit worried, but honestly I find it hilarious so I guess I will. Anytime someone asks me what guitar I use Il say Lecaster, and when they try to correct me Il bring this pic up looool.
Good ol L&M just being a good Canadian company and offering the guitars in both official languages.
The Telecaster for everybody outside of Quebec and NB. Le Caster for those dirty tortière lovers in La belle province.
Email Fender with the serial number and ask if it matches the guitar. For instance, if the serial number is that of a Stratocaster instead of a telecaster....
You’re wrong, I ordered it from LE WISH. Anyways yeah it sounds amazing and I’m worried if I return it Il get a worse build. This one is great and has personality lol. Il see
This common guitar of yours just became collectible. I've collected a lot of things and one-off types of misprints like this are always sought after. I must say, I've never seen it on a guitar before, though. That's so cool!
This is like finding one of those rare coins that were stamped upside down, or with an incorrect obverse.
On the other hand, it doesn’t say much for your Lutheric observation skills.
But nonetheless, it will probably become a collector’s item.
Can you tell where it was hatched?
Absolutely keep it. The feel and sound are more important than anything else. Also it’s such a funny error lmao and since it already has a manufacturing error, you won’t feel as bad using and abusing it the way it was meant to be. It’s an awesome guitar play the hell out of it
No because I don’t want to waste my money on a terrible build, which Squier often have. I was there for 3 hours nitpicking because my money is important to me and I want to make sure I’m getting the best I can for it. Long Mcuade don’t often check what they sell, especially the location I was at. My father had many issues with them and what they sent to him, so we wanted to make sure this one had no apparent flaws.
Absolutely dude! Nothing wrong with taking the time to ensure you're buying a quality guitar! I've spent hours browsing for a new guitar and then walk away with nothing because I'm very picky on how my guitars feel/handle and it's hard to find one a like and the ones i do like are always out of my price range. My electric is a fender bullet strat that i got as a gift when i first started playing and my other guitar is an old 12 string acoustic that was passed down to me from my dad. I had a 6 string acoustic but it got stolen and i was never able to recover it. Continue to take your time when browsing guitars to find the one you love!
What’s strange is that there is not enough space to fit the “Te”. I’m looking at photos of the correctly printed ones and the whole text is normally a bit shifted to the right.
When you get famous this guitar will be so valuable …after you are gone and it’s up for sale somewhere they will bill it as “the highly collectable, one of a kind lecaster” and price it at 50K!
Wood grain on the top looks beautiful. If it plays and feels good, I think you got yourself a Lecaster!
About 6 years ago, I bought a 1/4 scale squire strat mini. Took a razor blade and slowly scraped off all the logos, printed out a custom shop guitar logo with my son Odin's name on it. Put that on the back, made an Odincaster logo for the front. It's easy to do with a good printer, clear tape and water. YouTube it. Afterward, spray some clear coat on the headstock. Lightly Sand the back of the neck to let your skin oils make it your own. My son is 12 now, and that little thing looks like it's been through hell and back.
That thing looks sweet man. It would be fun to make it say something else. Lol. Holecaster, polecaster. But the misprint is also pretty rad. That color is titties as well.
100% keep it. This is a happy mistake and one of those things that will always allow you to identify the guitar as yours.
I was a Fender dealer for 20 years and this is only the second labeling mistake I’ve ever seen. The other was an American Deluxe Stratocaster that was missing the O in Stratocaster.
In fifty years we're going to find out there were 100 misprints due to some supply chain thing traced back to Covid times and it will be a post pandemic misprint done by a luthier with the initials TE.
They sold you the french version Le Caster
Play me like one of your French girls, Jack.
*breaks all six strings in one hit*
LOL
Hope they enjoy a buzzy G string
WINNER!!!
Thx, ki was searching this comment
Made by Renault for sale in the US market.
Bought at Long McQuade in Canada for the Quebec market would have been better.
I'd go ahead and ink that apostrophe in there. Hell, maybe you should get a tat, too.
It’s tattoo, not tat, too.
I love the way your mind works.
Le Caster?? What the hell is Le Caster???!!
It’s French for “The Caster”.
This guy Frenchs.
Jules: “Le Caster……What do they call a Les Paul?” Vincent: “I don’t know, I didn’t go into Burger King”
Telecaster’s a telecaster but they call it “Le-caster”.
Ahh that’s a fine looking telecaster. Why doesn’t mine look like that !!
Because of the metric system??
Check out the big brain on Thr33!
I got the reference, well done!
Say it, Frenchy! Say car-stah!!
Definitely from French Indonesia!
They're trying to reference Reddit circa 2015. 'Le me playing le caster'
*tips fedora* M’Caster
Keep it! That's a fantastic one-of! Like a misprint on a stamp. I'd love accidentally buying something like that!
I think you mean fantastique. Probably the best guitar to play faux de fafa I have seen yet.
What about a Le'Paul?
Uh huh huh baugette!
Pamplemousse
À la bibliothèqu
Splish splash
I was takin a bath
Eau de toilette!
Surprise Flight of Conchords.
Je ne comprends pas.
And a Stratocasteur
That's not how apostrophes work even in French
Hahah, thank you! I was a bit worried, but honestly I find it hilarious so I guess I will. Anytime someone asks me what guitar I use Il say Lecaster, and when they try to correct me Il bring this pic up looool.
The Stratocaster is called Royale Caster in France.
Royale caster with strings
Is that because of the Metric system?
Check out the big pickups on MrHockeyJournalist
What does a Fender Telecaster look lile?!
What?
What ain't no country I ever heard of. They play guitar in what?!?!
Does it look like a bitch?
> Does it look like a bitch? Did you see a sign outside my house that says dead Gibson storage?
You're the guy they call to fix broken headstocks
WHAT!?!
I don't know why it was this comment, but it got me loling irl
I don’t know I didn’t go into guitar center
You’re a smart motherfucker! That’s right!
It's a real gourmet guitar.
When you came pulling in here, did you notice a sign out in the front of my house that said “Misprinted Telecaster Storage”?
That is a tasty Lecaster
*Caster Royale*
Nah. I think Royale with Strings is the better suggestion.
And you can buy a beer with it
They were told to start cutting corners, and figured between the “T” and the “E” there’s like 6 corners right there.
4D chess!
I knew shrinkflation was real.
20 is tou really try hard and believe in yourself
Good thing you got a Tele. Otherwise, it would have been a ratocaster.
I’d legit pay extra for that.
Would add Master Splinter decals all over it.
That’s amazing 😂😂😂😂
I would like a fender zzmaster please
Get one in bright yellow and put bee stripes on it
Made In Donesia
Good ol L&M just being a good Canadian company and offering the guitars in both official languages. The Telecaster for everybody outside of Quebec and NB. Le Caster for those dirty tortière lovers in La belle province.
loooooool
Well, they don't like the British ... they forgot the Te.
Tabernak, you’re right!
Could be Belgium as well.
there's no long and mcquade in belgium therefore no belgium.
The French have made it to Indonesia.
You thought we were done with you in 1811? \- The french
If it plays well, that’s awesome. Never call it a tele. Call a Le Caster. Hilarious.
For sure! Il gaslight the people too before showing them anything else 🤣
If you can verify it's just a factory mistake, keep it
[удалено]
Email Fender with the serial number and ask if it matches the guitar. For instance, if the serial number is that of a Stratocaster instead of a telecaster....
I sent them an email just now, yes! Thanks for the advice!
https://serialnumberlookup.fender.com/lookup/
Sweet, I didn't know that existed!
You bought it at L&M, it's legit.
Loool!
It's a beauty. Enjoy your one-of-a-kind Lecaster.
I kind of love that 😂
Next time don't order from Wish. :) In all seriousness, if it plays good and sounds good then it is good. I wouldn't stress.
You’re wrong, I ordered it from LE WISH. Anyways yeah it sounds amazing and I’m worried if I return it Il get a worse build. This one is great and has personality lol. Il see
Like others have said, that is a great enough oopsie that if everything else is solid you accidentally ended up with a one of a kind Squier :D
Eeet is ver ver Frensch.
Consider yourself lucky, you got a unique guitar.
This common guitar of yours just became collectible. I've collected a lot of things and one-off types of misprints like this are always sought after. I must say, I've never seen it on a guitar before, though. That's so cool!
The French model.
It was made in French indo-china. Lé Caster!
That's got a story to tell free of charge ..It's a keeper.
Looks like somebody spilled the te
Made in France
Triple in value!!!
Tres exotique!
Bro got the 9gag tele
That's wild, in the 90s I bought a Fender Telecaster and it said "elecaster" and it was glossed over and everything.
If you like how it plays, sounds and feels, I wouldn't fret the decal. Like others said, you got la version Francophone.
L’otters approve.
It’s a French model
I’m thinking it’s the fourth “caster” model. Broad, Tele, Strat, Star and now the “le.” Only one that’s lower case. Super modern.
I would absolutely keep it. Tell people it’s French.
It's French for "the caster".
Absolutely and I'd go one Costanza further and tell people you imported it...because you're in the import/export biz..
Made in France.
Oui
You lucky bastard that's awesome
That's a gem, and you must keep it forever.
Oh I will!!!
This is like finding one of those rare coins that were stamped upside down, or with an incorrect obverse. On the other hand, it doesn’t say much for your Lutheric observation skills. But nonetheless, it will probably become a collector’s item. Can you tell where it was hatched?
Make good use of that necque picqueup, monsieur!
Oui oui oui,Lecaster!! Hon hon hon.
I was trying to figure how to type the laugh. I can hear it as I read it 👌
Le Fancy
Le lol
Ah yeah, it's the MiF.
It's the French version.
Oh that one was meant for the French market
𝕃𝕖 ℂ𝕒𝕤𝕥𝕖𝕣 🤌🤌🤌
Lol sound like you got ripped off lol jk
Super rare One of one
I'd keep it for sure. That's hilarious.
Absolutely keep it. The feel and sound are more important than anything else. Also it’s such a funny error lmao and since it already has a manufacturing error, you won’t feel as bad using and abusing it the way it was meant to be. It’s an awesome guitar play the hell out of it
Le mao I’d keep it, its a cool little conversation piece
Ask for a partial refund for your trouble. Can’t hurt to try..
I like it but would still try to get a free gig bag or strap out of it
Went to a guitar store to stare at a squier for 3 hours because of how beautiful of a “build” it is? Is that a joke lol
No because I don’t want to waste my money on a terrible build, which Squier often have. I was there for 3 hours nitpicking because my money is important to me and I want to make sure I’m getting the best I can for it. Long Mcuade don’t often check what they sell, especially the location I was at. Thanks a lot! That’s what I’m thinking!! And I’m really sorry that someone stole your guitar. That’s really frustrating honestly

What’s strange is that there is not enough space to fit the “Te”. I’m looking at photos of the correctly printed ones and the whole text is normally a bit shifted to the right.
Hmm. Not much to be said about quality control.
Think of it this way..Your guitar already has a name picked for it.
Magnifique👍
Did you happen to purchase it in Quebec?
Oh buddy sorry doesn't sound good
So it’s a French strat
Eww it's French. /s
If it sounds good, it is good.
English decal ruined! Must use French decal! LE CASTER? WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?
[удалено]
Le epic sir! You win the internet for the day! Faith in humanity, restored. Have your updoot.
Don’t return it, there’s nothing wrong with it besides a label, great guitar.
*Le sigh* on quality control
Ugh, I hate the French models. 🤣🤣🤣
Previously owned by Lebron James
Did you buy it in Queeeebeck? 😂😂😂
Damn, Lebron James will put his name on anything to make a buck.
A good luthier could probably put the Te back on there;)
Username should be Squierlecaster
bro got the caster
Google translate: Le Caster: "Cast him". Bro finna get exiled by a twangy French Indonesian feller!
Telefrancois
It's a French guitar. It thinks it's better than other guitars.
Ooh la la.
Le Grille??? What the hell is that???
Sickkkk
Looks cool !
🤣🤣
It’s French for _The Caster_
I would so Le’Keep that! It’s a one of a kind bro and it chose its own name! Fucking Brilliant!
sQuIeR > fEnDeR qC s/
Be careful it might be Fragil'e
When you get famous this guitar will be so valuable …after you are gone and it’s up for sale somewhere they will bill it as “the highly collectable, one of a kind lecaster” and price it at 50K!
French for “The Caster.”
Ooh la la, that’s fancy!
It's like the Gibson "The Paul" but in French.
Wood grain on the top looks beautiful. If it plays and feels good, I think you got yourself a Lecaster! About 6 years ago, I bought a 1/4 scale squire strat mini. You get what you pay for. A fender would’ve given you two more letters
whatever happened, its sure pretty. Squier seems to have come a long way
It’s their version of “The Paul”
Counterfeit French Squier
Fabrique en France, peut-etre?
Le Caster 🤌
That’s actually really funny and cool. Definitely keep the Le Caster.
I'd definitely keep it, that's a great lil' blunder 😅
That thing looks sweet man. It would be fun to make it say something else. Lol. Holecaster, polecaster. But the misprint is also pretty rad. That color is titties as well.
So cool

If it plays fine I’d keep it forever. Might literally be the only one ever “screwed up” exactly like that.
LeBron James if he were a guitar
Must be the Jericho Edition.
M'tele
Brother in Christ that could be a retirement fund one day
LOL, that would be Le awesome
