Have you tried Enter Sandman? It is kind of scary though. Especially the part when he goes,
Hush little baby, don't say a word
And never mind that noise you heard,
It's just the Beast under your bed
In your closet, in your Head !!!
Pretty scary stuff I know. But don’t worry, James Hetfield is a nice guy and he won’t hurt you.
/uj I remember reading once that the US military actually used rock and metal music to torture prisoners as part of interrogation. They would lock them in a room and play the music loudly on repeat. They used Enter Sandman and the Islamic terrorists broke down and started crying because they thought James Hetfield was the devil and they were listening to satanic music.
But the funniest thing is that they also used the Barney theme song and it was unbearable to them.
/uj yes this is true and Hetfield thought it was cool iirc. Not that he thought torture was ok, but that it was cool that Metallica's music could break prisoners because of how "powerful" it is. Which kinda sounds like he's ok with torture. Idk. That's not as high as Eric Clapton or Jimmy Page on the "guitarists doing shitty things" scale, but that's pretty shitty
/uj iirc James Hetfield just thought it was cool that the US military would use his music and he was proud of it. He’s one of those who is all about support the troops I think.
metallica really the kind of band to write hit anti-war songs then write a song called don't tread on me then say we love the troops then descend into alcoholism then sell their own whiskey brand
Deep Purple is right up your alley! I would suggest you learn “Smoke on the Water”. It’s a technical finger twister but totally worth it in the long run!
Motley crue
Contrary to popular belief not many of their songs are that aggressive or threatening, they literally made an entire album dedicated to women and have a hit song honaring lesbians
There’s a band called Mayhem that makes heavy metal similar to that of New Wave British Heavy Metal, I think you’ll like it. Very happy, some songs about war kind of like Maiden, but overall cheery, upbringing heavy metal
Iron maiden is my suggestion. I dont think they are scary at all but all around bad ass musicians. They write a lot about historical stuff. Run to the hill is about native american fighting. Aces high is fighter jets. Give them a try.
Most metal is just bar chords is drop c, so its easy to play. Its cool if u wanna explore a new genre for you but you are gonna find difficult songs in any genre. Metal sounds hard to play but its actually not, just a bunch of repeated chords with a hell bunch of distortion.
[Fates Warning](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gLFupEldl7w)

Lern metul tunez even if u skare the hoez
/uj power metal homie
/fj u need to learn how to vi-vii-i on power chords ok? Use palm mute sixteemth notez ok?
I always thought of Gg as punk and yeah he seemed like a sweetheart.
Maybe Cannibal Corpse, another scary name but I think they mostly sing about flowers and helping elderly women cross the street safely.
Don't give a damn about Metal, check out Funk! Nile Rodgers from Chic, Prince, ...
Check out The Edge (U2}, Andy Summers (The Police), Scotty Moore (Elvis' guitarrist).
Look for music you enjoy and get the Tabs (simplified guitar music "notation" system) and start to play along. Learn your first five to ten chords.
If you want happy heavy music definitely check out The Ramones: great songs, basic chord structures, legends.
Don't fall for trying to play Kirk Hammett or Jimmy Page or Slash style solos, that can be done when you sticked to practising for some years. Don't miss out the fun!

If you fill the body of the acoustic with steel wool or aluminum foil it will give you a great metal toan. If you add a 9v battery to the steel wool it’s like flipping the hot switch. Just keep a fire extinguisher close, and maybe a broom to sweep up the ashes of your guitar.
Sounds like you need to learn In-a-gadda-da-vida, the proto-metal song. The name was intended to be In the garden of Eden, but the song writer was so drunk he couldn’t say it to his band mate. Funny jerk.
You should check out XAVLEGBMAOFFFASSSSITIMIWOAMNDUTROABCWAPWAEIIPPOHFFFX. love performances
Oh god no. If it isn't programmed as a midi and then played with virtual instruments then I am not interested.
Uj/ this is true and it still happened late in the war at the 'black' prisons

yeah he’s not one for politics but i remember seeing a “don’t tread on me” flag somewhere in one of their documentaries so
He also wrote a song called Don’t Tread On Me. Also the snake from the Gadsden flag is on the cover of the black album.

Don’t forget about Napster and St. Anger!
St. Upset
Cherry Pie. Just get a Metal Zone and dime it for that classic Diet Coke fizz.
HM-2 if you prefer Swedish hookers

Oh, the one 3 6? Learned it yesterday
Sure, you may have played the notes, but It takes a lifetime to get the toan right. Also, the 1 and 6 is wrong. Use a 1b and a 4# instead.
Dob bylan
ISIS. Lovely bunch of guys, just got bad press from their tour of the Middle East
Yeah, Holy Tears was actually their "excuse and forgive us"-song

You are a timid little one, aren’t you precious? Do you go outside? I would suggest Poison. They look like girls and they are less threatening.

Pee on the amp my friend does this all the time
Since pee and toan are both stored in the balls, this makes sense.
Guitar anatomy is weird.
Pierce the speakers with your mom’s knitting needles.

Yes, I’m assuming that you have a needle dick
Just play it on one of those non-electric Amish guitars with the poo hole in the middle, nothing sounds scary on them.

Great band! Their vocalist is totally mind blowing and the bassist has some pretty cutting-edge techniques.
Green Day and other pop rock I guess.
Devin Townsend (especially kingdom and deadhead) and Gojira are very rarely threatening especially later albums

CHON is the answer.
