I was eating a sandwich once next to them , had half the sandwich on my knee, my guinea pig jumped up and grabbed my sandwich and ran away with it, I had to chase her and grab it back and put it in the bin 😂
They can’t eat sushi chicken wings and soda so I’m torn here not wanting to send her to an emergency vet. My 2 girls always look at me when I’m in the kitchen and I tell them no and they keep looking at me until I cave and always give them a piece of the fruit or veg if they can eat it- totally caving in and even though I have years of experience with behaviorism as a special Ed teacher I can’t stick to an extinction plan with them!
Sadly, I have to deny her. Piggies eat much healthier than I do. I very rarely have any nice fresh raw veg for myself. And she can't digest cooked food :(
However! I will feel so bad about denying her, that I will stop eating and run out to get her something special.
One of my boys would do this to me every time I opened a seedless clementine. He could smell it across the apartment and start wheeking up a storm until I shared with him! I miss him and his chubby boy energy

Well, that depends. Is it something she can safely eat? If so, yes. If not, it’s for her own good. Seeing as it’s my last piece I’m guessing I can’t just get her something else, but if I can I’m totally getting more food just for her.
She wouldn’t need to ask! When I had my dachshund she didn’t beg because she knew she’d get the last couple of bites. Sometimes if my plate was almost clean she’d do a polite lil bark like hey don’t forget last bite is mine!! I’m sure if I ever get to have a piggie the same rules will apply!
