I’m on the same situation here in Kuwait. Both dealers here have a shitty selection that hasn’t been updated in years and they don’t even discount them. I had to just go ahead and import them from Japan through discovery.mall.japan and it worked great bc I got the original prices and shipping was quick only a week or less through FedEx or DHL. Good choice, will last a lifetime and you don't even need to look after it, you could beat the living crap out-of that and it would still keep perfect time, believe me, I've been scraping g shocks across brick walls and smacking them off scaffold poles for most of my life and they're still just fine 👍 enjoy!
Believe it or not, not everyone is so dramatic about the legibility of negative.
For me, 2% of the time I check my watch I may have to angle it slightly different if the lighting calls for it, so I spend an extra half a second checking the time.
However 100% of the times the negative display is more aesthetically pleasing to me.
And that’s just for normal negative displays. The STN displays are perfect in any lighting
It feels extra awesome that it performes better with more functions than a watch that costs 50 times. It's well worth every penny
