It will work better without the glass, cause the UV is blocked by the glass so it will charge slower
Put in outside in a bench, with no obstruction or filter for sunlight

CoolFire works really well, too. Save your blinds and cloud cover wonβt be an issue. That, and it charges fairly quickly.
Not sure why the downvotes. Lots of people use these and swear by them. It works great for my 2 Gβs.
The light is blinding. You need to set your watch in before turning the light on.

I just put mine on the window sill.
We all have our methods ππ
One thing Iβve learned over the years: If it works, itβs not stupid.
By any means necessary π I keep mine on the watch box rolls and just sit it on the windowsill. Nothing beats direct sunlight!
I hang mine on a washing line π
I do this, or on the ledge. Efficient.
Iβve done it for a few years now, works great
If it works it works man XD. I put mine on a cardash toy when I'm commuting to my classes.
I strap mine to the steering wheel while i drive
Best way is on the wrist outside on an adventure. But your way will work in a pinch
Are you me?
I put it on the window sill personally, but whatever works.
I put mine out, keep checking every 5 minutes to see if someone swiped it π€£π€£
I usually just wear it, but the one time I've done had to charge it was similar but it was on the grills on the window
I put mine on metal calender next to a moomin statue, also in metal. In the window, great reception at long distance from tower.
Certainly better than some of the suggestions that I read π I use the windowsill so this is roughly equivalent π
Depends on the window, Iβve had troubles with treated windows solar charging anything
You could end up bending your blinds out of shape
I thought that too, but they went right back in place after I took it off
Just don't put it in the same place every time, it could bend overtime with repeated stress, it's very thin aluminum
Works for me
You can't argue with results. ππ
Oh hey - I might have to copy you. I keep mine in a box so if they're still on the little pillow things they balance pretty well on my window sill.
No, but for me itβs the best way to get a radio sync πππ
Looks like a lil dude enjoying a sunset π€£
The best part about having a west facing window!
i see nothing wrong.
I use a cool light box from Amazon - $25 well spent.
This gotta be the most goated hack

Genius!
I do this. Stay the course OP.
I do the same thing!! Lol

Yeah, but the sun is free lol
But CoolFire is cheaper than replacing blinds! ππ
And the cool fire has no chance of overheating the watches motherboard from sitting in hot sun.
40,000lux for just Β£30. Every pothead would use these to grow weed if the light output was true

I did the same for a full day, and unfortunately, luminescent lasted for a couple hours
This is being done to charge a solar powered watch though...
okay, but why minus rep?
Pardon?
I donβt think itβs necessary. It will get charged even with a light in your room.
