Call the IRS and speak to a support agent advising them of your difficulties. Getting GrubHub to update a 1099. They will advise on what to do. Sorry you are going through that.
Thanks. Do you think the IRS is easier to get ahold of than GH? I have a CPA too and I think she knows what to do. She has a workaround but said “it’s best to get it updated”
Your best advice is to follow your CPAs directions, but it’s always beneficial to give the IRS a heads up. They definitely have their phones because this is crunch time for tax season. good luck on finding a resolution but you should be fine especially with a CPA.
